  1. All used mate, if Your in a hurry grab a set off Chris.
  2. Hi Gaz, If you can wait till next week, i'm getting a few pairs in. Cheers.
  3. Thanks to you Spence For being so patient with the bloody Italian courier service.. Cheers!!
  4. Same thing Bill, the flywheel line aligns with the bell housing's small pointer bit, when the engine is timed up, both marks correspond.
  5. And just to be 100%, make sure the TDC scribed line points up with pistons 1-4 At TDC. But new flywheel bolts too, i would'nt trust 20+ year old bolts.. And also check the rear oil Seal fitted behind the flywheel, easy to do now that it's all dismantled.
  6. I've only ever seen ZF racks fitted, the 16v's version will fit but the high press. pipes have different fittings and the Vr rack also has longer inner steering arms too, meaning you'd have to swqap over thoses aswell.. Vr6 also has a different, higher pressure pump compared to the other models fitted with TRW hardware.
  7. They are both good bill, Sachs used to supply the clutchs to Vw as O/E so that must say something about the quality..
  8. Get a vr6 pressure plate and use a normal 2.0 valver disk. The Vr pressure plate has more clamp load than the others. Change the release bearing too Bill.
  9. Bin the horrid thing and fit a proper oil cooler mate.. 16v engine also had it.
  10. Damaged in what way? Broken glass? Broken bodies? Snapped in half? Rusty reflectors?
  11. I might have one left on an old Vr loom i've got. I'll have a look tomorrow morning.
  12. I hope Your gonna use the manifold I sent you..it's off the 2.0 9A valver engine. Has your Corrado got a/c? You'll have to get it regassed upon reassembly. Take the front off regardless, better access to everything. Whilst the engine is out, check the power steering rack's gators for splits, arb rubber Bush's, etc. Basically, everything you can check now, without the engine in the way.
  13. First off, welcome aboard! I've Got a few spare mate, Send me Your email and i'll get you a few photos sent. Cheers-Andrew.
  14. I'm in this same position as you mark.. I got two Brembo calipers off Troy (Graphite) and I'll be using the O/E G60 280mm Vented disk all fitted under my BBS rm 15" rims. Definitely needing 15mm spacers, there's no way that they will clear The inner rim without. I'm also gonna need a set of Epytec custom brackets to mount the calipers onto the g60 Hub. You could do what I was gonna do and use a set of Girling twin piston G60 calipers, Vauxhall Meriva 1.7 cdti brake disks, Audi S2 Brembo pads and fit that lot on, you may need a 5mm spacer to clear the caliper though, at least on the RM's it's needed. A set of Goodridge braided hoses and your set, awesome braking under a 15" rim.. I have this entire set up ready to go if your interested, brand new, machined disks, pads and calipers with new seals.
  15. I think i may have a few spare, i'll have a rummage later on and see if i can unearth them. Send me your email and i'll get you photos sent. Cheers.
  16. Thanks guys. No, bloody horrible.. I was still in bed with head and back ache, an hour previously i'd taken meds for the pain so i was still quite out of it.. The first thing i did was grab my 2 year old daughter and try to get out, by the time i'd actually got out of bed (stoned) grabed my daughter, unlock the front door that has 6 different locks and actually got out, i thought sod it, even if i got out and got onto the open road, then what? Hi Jamie, no such precautions here mate, you grab what you can and try and run out of the building, if it hasn't collapsed already.. Now we face another nite.. Nothing i can do about it either.
  17. Just got woken by a long tremor.. I could barley move, felt like being on A ship in a gale..7.5 on the Richter scale.. I'm ****ting myself.
  18. I meant when using Brembo 4 pots in 15" rims like bbs rm's on the original 280mm discs.
  19. I'm in the middle of this malarky, with Brembos of any flavour Your gonna def. Need Wheel Spacers, no other way of avoiding the Outer pistons rubbing on the inner part of the Wheel, BBS RM's 15". I'm going to use the original 280mm disks as the pads fit them perfectly. I don't think you'll get 288mm discs under 15" wheels, depends on the offset and inner design too though.
  20. Cheers guys. Thanks Jamie, I hope I'm still around to post your tower.. Building collapsed a few weeks back for no known reason down by the Tevere river, I live in a building Made in '20 with crap materials.. I'm bricking it bad.
  21. Yeah, not very far from Rome either.. Another one 10 mins ago, I'm gonna sleep in a car tunite, bollocks to this..
  22. One scary fu#$in moment 5 mins ago, dam bed started to shake and curtain rail strings going like Pendulums.. I wonder if i'll still be here tomorrow mornin or buried under 100's of tons of rubble... Scary **** indeed chimps..
  23. Allright Jekel, Interesting..the rear axle spacers, sounds good. Mines got abs but I never use it and it's been disconnected for years anyway. Roads here in Rome? Mostly like Calcutta, total shiyte all over the city mate.. I'm stuck with 15" rims because of the stupid arse rules here, no mods what so ever. So I need to fit spacers up front to clear some Brembos. I'll pm you my address, thanks!
