  1. Main pump, press. regulator, rusted fuel pipes, totally rusted on unions..

I think your gonna be in for a bit of fun mate.. Soak everything with WD-40 a couple of days before starting to remove the pump. Also remove the intank lift pump because god knows what's in the bottom

of the tank. The lifter pump is probably buggered too so get a spare one, new fuel filter would benifit too.

Clean the small filter located inside the fuel meter inlet union (if it's still there) clean the inlet funnel, pull the mechanical injectors and try and get them cleaned.

Maybe then the mill might run but judging by the photos of the car..your in for a big job.

I just saw the engine on photobuket..christ, i thought the one i bought 10 years ago was bad.. I reckon your gonna have to remove the entire injection system to get a running engine, the meter head is probably stuck with old fuel deposits, buy a can of Cyclo carb cleaner (VERY good) and get cracking mate.

  2. Quite a pig of a job, as usual with the corrado.. Bloody rivits securing the mechanisms too.

Start with the simple stuff first, sounds weird that both motors should be affected, i'd start checking voltages, wiring etc first before sodding around with the lifters.

I've never had door membranes fitted on the doors and i've had 4 'raddos, never had an issue with electric windows.

Let me know how you get on mate.

  3. Try lubricating the channels using silicone spray, usually does the trick.

If not remove the panel check that you actually have 12v at the motors, dodgy earth or contacts could cause this problem. You could disconnect tha lifting mechanism and see if the window glass is free to slide up and down within its channels. Could be buggered motors, brushes that are worn, armatures etc.

Had many problems with various 'raddos over the years but never had any problems with electric windows.

Let me know if anything said above helps with your problem.

    Cheers

  4. Hmm, sounds a challenge this one..

Seeing as it's such a pain in jaksy to remove the inlet manifold maybe the crusty injector wiring may have short circuited or not make proper contact, that could also cause the mill to run on 3 cylinders as well.

Are the plugs the proper g60 ones? are they in good nick? Can you hear boost pressure leaking out when accelerating? maybe a boost hose clamp could have been ill fitted and the hose came off, it happens..

Unfortunatly when dealing with old cars and especially old components, the more you touch the more other things crop up.

Have a look at those basic ideas i suggested and see if it goes any better, don't worry mate, theres loads of other things that go wrong with old g60s..!

  5. Just a word of advice, you probably know already, as soon as you touch the dam things with cleaner they bubble and sag..

I've done loads using baby wipes, only thing that I found works that avoids the glue dissolving.

Sorry for cluttering your post, just want to help you avoid.

  6. I forgot to mention sam, i'm based in Rome, Italy so postage Will Always be higher then the uk.

    Cheers.
