  1. In this case, def. Get Jamo's block as it'll always cost more to send from Italy compared to Scotland..

Last things I sent down to Ireland were a vr6 cyl.head cat and foglamps for a couple of hundred €'s.

  2. I may have the temp. sensor still attached to a spare few 9A heads i've got spare, i'll get you a couple of photos or the P/N.

The oring should be a normal version, or maybe the green rubber type, i'll check a spare dist. i've got and photo it mate.

  3. Anyone Know How to set the GALA function that sets the volume in accordance to road speed on an old gamma 3 Blaupunkt Corrado radio?

I need to Know How to get into the main menu and what button needs pushing as i don't have any instruction manual.

    Thanks.

  4. I did this same thing last year, no problem using that type of wire, just buy good quality wire and use the oil proof sheething available off ebay, good quality terminale and you'll be fine.

The only problems i ran into were trying to find some of the more obscure Vw terminals such as the headlamp connectors and fan spade connectors, also some of the big positive feeds into the fusebox were buggers to track down. Wiring suppliers in Derbyshire had almost all the stuff recquired though.

  5. Fit as in screw into the steering rack, yes they Will but the ZF arms are longer than the 16v TRW made rack.

The tyres could rub on the inner wings, afairc there was also a difference in the threaded part that screws into the rack, one part had a different profile end shoulder that buts up to the inner rack. I did this conversion from TRW to vr6 ZF rack 10+ years ago so my memory of every detail lacks a bit..
