VAG is the same price is you buy the whole pump (not just the impeller) - the VW impellers are plastic rather than metal...

The hose clip will be re-useable, get the new elbow, O ring seal and 2 new bolts tho... Easy to change (cold engine and take cap off to release any pressure) and If your careful then you can swap it without loosing any coolant... Be careful with the bolts as they screw into the plastic rad surround (new rad's are £150!)

Tip - use an old fan belt as a strap wrench if it's tight, if it's really bad then stick a screwdriver thru it but be careful not to break the dipstick guide...

The G60 without aircon uses a 430mm rad - your parts man needs a slap... 535 121 251B

Not much at all - new ones have a very fine mist all over them, it's imposible to get it that good with the aerosol....

To be honest it sounds like some engine work is needed anyway if you've used 2 ltrs in a few hundred files...

Be careful how much oil you use - too much and you'll be needing a new MAF!

I think you getting confused between inlet and exhaust fanimolds... Shrick make the VGI inlet which is based on the original Pierburg VSR which VW motorsport sold, the other 2 you mention are exhausts i think...

Chay, does the switch light up when on?? same switch on mk3 polo's... Fuse 9 (20A) - Heated mirrors on same circuit.

VW cars have never used ATF for PAS...

As above and yes thats the right oil, use an old fan belt to get the old filter off (use as a strap wrench) and do the new one up hand tight (20Nm) There is a guide to do the VR6 in the knowledge base - make sure you get the correct filter - part number ends in 562

STORM 2, get another quote - they quoted for new ones not exchange I think...

If it's front then it won't be stub axle - maybe wheel hub - 16VG60 had 2 for sale recently....
