  1. I had my Anglia headlight reflectors rechromed. Not cheap (about £50 for 2 x 7" dia) but well worth it. I'd be tempted to have the pair done unless the other side is mint. Another trick often used is to paint the inside white.
  2. Not the best but cant find a pic of that one BUT Milners coupe (the yellow one) in American Graffiti was fairly cool. Along with Falfa's (Harrison Ford's) 55 Chevy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWI34ZRVxI
  3. I did a 17 in my 2l 16v, think it was 17.8. I was using one of them gtec things on the road mind. 1st gear just span. Ran a 15.1 in my Anglia at avon park. I was being harsh with it, suprised it still ran after because it didn't smell to good inside.
  4. I wouldn't call him a hot rodder. It just looks the same to me as all his other recent work. Like that Bently for example. He's got talent when it comes to fabrication (even though i heard someone else does that he just designs it) but it needs to be used other ways.
  5. My hotrodded Anglia, I bought it when i was 16 as just a rolling shell. It's not that comfortable to drive but the looks you get on the motor way and the people leaning out their window with the camera phones make up for that (a lot of people have pics of the car with me making daft faces). Other than that the Austin Metro i had when i was 17 was fun. Apart from me having to change the clutch cable every week.
  6. I have a 2.9 engine in my Anglia, They're a nice strong motor and can shift if you want them to. Have a look at the cylinder heads, if they have the letter K cast into them it's an ex police car (unless they've been changed). The 2.8 manifold will fit so you can use a 38dgas/40 downdraught carb. I had to scrap all the 2.9 ignition when the carb went on and now run a 2.8 dizzy with a modified bottom to suit the gear on the 2.9 cam. All the covers on the engine are alloy and polish up real nice.
  7. Bet you never sounded smug at all on the phone to your insurers.
  8. 1935/36 was definitley Fords best years! I could stare at that all day. Have to build me a rat rod next though, thanks for the porn beeftech.
  9. I am starting to like that colour a lot now. Welcome
  10. Yep! I cant see the last few pics, Did you have any trouble with the shell twisting when you cut all that floor out?
  11. My milkman used to be Ernie, and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west.
  12. Not really into Ferraris but that is a good looking car, even if the interior does look like a big playstation.
