Sorry if anyone's posted about these already (I've been away for a while, did a search, but didn't show anything), but my brother-in-law got me one for Christmas: http://www.minichampsonline.co.uk/die-c ... -400055601 I got number 1 of 1200, so I'm guessing they've just been released. Brilliant quality and the detail is spot-on (even down to the window switches being in the right place on the door cards, for a 1990). They are left hand drive and have the spoiler level brake light, but other than that are a perfect match. Very pleased with my present :-) Now to drop it and sort the rims...

    G60 rad fan

    Had exactly the same thing. I'd never seen/heard my fan running and I had a duff water temp gauge. So I got a new switch, plugged in the loom and stuck it in boiling water. No fan action :( Shorting the connections worked. I got my water temp gauge working and it never went over 100 and just the other day (a hot day stuck in traffic) the water temp gauge got over 100. I pulled up at home and the fan was running :D I can only assume I've just never got it up to temp before (I've got an oil cooler, but I can't imagine that would make so much difference). What does your temp gauge read when you think you should get the fan kicking in, but it doesn't?
  4. You can test the thermo-switch by unplugging it (it's the sensor half way down the radiator on one side). With the ignition on, bridge between red and one of the other wires (on the plug!), the fan should come on. Then bridge between red and the remaining wire - fan should come on at a different speed.
  5. Had the same thing - I changed the expansion tank and it still flashed. But - I fixed it this weekend by cleaning all the under-bonnet earths. Can't tell you which one fixed it, but the two most suspicious things I found were: - the earth onto the head (just under the right hand side coolant manifold on my G60) was covered in goo and was nice and wet. - under the battery, the space for the loom was full of cr*p and also wet. One of the earths there has a factory join wrapped in decaying fabric wrap. After cleaning those up (and the other earth points) I also changed any dodgy fuses and checked behind the fuse box for loose connectors. When I'd finished my warning light had stopped flashing, my coolant gauge started working, my dodgy ABS light went out and I found a cold beer in my fridge (granted, the beer might be a coincidence, but let me know when you've done yours and I'll check to see if there's another one there).
  6. Steve at Pitstop gave me the name of a belt dressing to try - which I've since forgotten :oops: but I'm sure he'd let you know if you PM'd him or gave them a ring.
  7. You can take the gauge out without removing the whole cluster. Just remove the plastic surround (2 screws in top, two in each bottom corner, under covers) and the plastic front from the cluster (one small screw on each side)and then gently pull the gauge outwards. It's a friction fit and will slide off easily (just remember the LCD screen isn't attached to the gauge, so don't pull on that). I might have a spare (working) gauge in a couple of weeks if you need it - bought it to check mine and neither work, so that's not the problem... Good luck!
  8. Same problem here... Got a new instrument cluster and swapped over - same problem. Then suddenly the gauge has started moving - in unison with the rev counter! Joy!
  9. I've got exactly the same problem with exactly the same symptoms. I had G-Werks change my tensioner pulleys - but it's still there! Please let me know if you sort it (and I'll do the same) - It's driving me crazy and I'm conviced there's boost being lost that should be making me go faster :x
  10. If anyone wanted to know a little more about viscosity etc. The company I work for make high end Lube oil test equipment, including viscometers (don't worry, I'm not looking to sell anything - the equipment is generally used by ships and is several thousand £ each...). Kittiwake

  12. Met up with Furki last night to buy his old rims. That is one seriously nice Corrado! I love the clean look and all the little touches work really well together. Very, very low too! Nice to meet you mate. Mike
