Hey all My electrics are starting to go a bit funny too. The abs light wont switch off and the windows will only go down if the doors are open could this be due to the same problem or something else??? Hope you have solved your problems mate???? good luck if not?

Hi my 2.0ltr 16v L reg corrado keeps splutering and stalling. It has got worse in the last week or so, It will start up fine then after a few min's will start coughing and splutering then some times will stall. To get it started again you have to play with the leads and give the coil a bang?? leads look fine so do you think that the coil could be f~@?ed????? Or is there any thing else i have missed? I have changed the battery, dissy cap and roter arm. Any help or advice welcome cheers

Hi Boys + Girls My c has started to spluter when i first start it up but not all the time some times it nearly cuts out all together but as soon as i put the clutch in it goes back up to 1000rpm. Every so often i will be driving along and it will just cut out all together and wont start all i have to do is pop the bonet play with the ht leads and it starts again but the ht leads look fine. any help welcome cheers

If you take the pannel off the drivers side of the dash next to the clutch you can see the cog's. You cant realy get to them, to replace them but you can move it so they blow on your wind screen and superglue it in place. it worked on mine. But then i got a new c so never got it fixed properly hope this helps?

Cheers not sure about those mirrors look a bit saxo excuse my french? My corrado wont be on the road for a while, So cant realy get it to a body shop to do the swage lines. Going to try doing the mods in my garage with a few handy friends of mine. So might be tricky but who nows might be able to pull it off?????? :scratch:

Don't think i will do that then? dosn't sound worth it :roll: As i said though just posting up a few ideas. And wanting some feed back of what you lot think, I do apreciate all the coments. How long do's it take to do the swage lines is it an easyish task i do like that look was scared of it cracking thats what put me off doing it. Any other comments sudgestions welcome Thanks

Yes did think of that. But was worried that they would eventually crack with the way i drive some time's. Iam just playing with ideas at the mo and trying to get some opinions on my ideas? And maybe some suggestion's i could think about cheers.

Yes i know it just looks cool. Not completely sure about it yet? I thought about takeing the pasenger side one off and finding a small drivers side oem type replacement not sure how that will look though?

Hi every one My corrado should be in my garage in a couple of weeks so planning what to do first? Iam wanting to clean up the whole look of my c, By deleting wing mirros (maybe) The aerial, rub strips and side repetors. will it fail the mot if i take off the side repetors? If any one has any helpfull tips to make any of the above jobs easyer or any other idea's to clean up the corrado's look will be welcome I will start posting pics up as soon as i get started if any one is intrested? Cheers going to get some lupo wipers. Have you deleted your ariel If so were have you relocated it to? Just spoke to my mot'er and his boss wont let him pass the mot without wing mirrors so he's put a stop to that mod. Will have to make some new friends. :lol:

Iam not to sure realy the usual slam it on coilovers. delete the rear wiper, areal and some sebring wheels love how they look on the corrado. lupo wipers up front and maybe delete wing mirrors if iam brave enough lol. just to start want to keep the interior looking stock to a degree. And you know how it goes after that start changing every thing and spending loads of cash on it until iam bankrupt. You got any plans By the way just looked at your pics that is a sweet corrado like what you done with it mate. Will post up some pics when i start doing the work

I cant even imagen what you could do to a corrado with a work shop? I mean i thought your car was as near perfect as poss. You have allready wooped vw's ass and its there creation in the first place? Any way are you taking it to the vw festival in leeds would love to see it there.

cheers mate. That would have been a shame to smash your corrado up it looks stuning. Have thought it would be difficult to drive but not sure if its worth it. They look great without the mirrors and areal. I have got a mate that test's cars but its going to be off the road for a year or two so wont have to wory about that for a while? Hello For the next year or so iam going to have to take my beloved corrado off the road :( But its not all bad while its off the road it is getting put in my new garage and haveing a small amount of money spent on her. Iam wanting to clean her up a bit and was just wondering if it will fail the mot if i delete the wing mirrors? And if any one has got an pics could you please post them up? cheers

Iam in the process of fitting the double gauges off ebay. But does any one know were to get gauges that light up green? Iam wanting to keep the dash looking as original as pos. Or is it possible to take the gauges apart and paint or replace the bulbs? If so how difficult is it? Cheers once again fella's / ladies

Hey I have just been to my local stealers to get one. The 50mm one was about £55 and the 90mm one was about £117 I think cant remember now hope this helps you out. Why do we have to suffer for style???????????????????????????

Cheers fellas got it sorted now it was a dip stick out of a polo. Thought it looked short got a spare one my mate had liying around seems to be running fine now

HI all Just a quick question does any one know how long the dip stick should be on a 2ltr 16v? The one i have seems to be a little short compared to my 1,8ltr 16v. When i put oil in to the max mark it dosn't seem to run right And when it says it's low it runs fine Cheers fellas
