  1. There is now another Blue one owner Storm 73k with aircon just started on Ebay. May be worth watching. I see this has been picked up on another thread by the usual tyre kickers :D
  2. I cant download the seat bolster guide :(
  3. Alough its done 130k its a 1 owner car so has got to be worth a bid at the 4 grand mark. Bit of time spent and it would be an nice honest car.
  4. I fall in to catorary 3 as Ive now had my Blue one for 3 years. Hope i dont fall in to 3 though :(
  5. I bought my Storm from them 2 or so years ago. I paid top dollar for it I have to admit but it was like a new car. I still have it and am still well chuffed with it. Ive had a few small probs such as coil pack and tensioner pulley bearing. Not long after I had bought it I had a problem with the air-con. I took it back and they sorted the problem out straight away and its been perfect since. They are a genuine enough place and you know the cars history will be sound. They used to have loads in stock but there are not enough about now.
  6. I dont let my wife drive my Storm! The reason. She thinks that wheels are parking guages and when they scrape along the kerb then your close enough!. Thats why my wheels are perfect and her wheel covers on her Clio are scraped to death  And she not gonna be driving my Rado
  7. I agree that today it is condition that would be key in the purchace of another Corrado. however I love my STORM and I was luky enough to buy a pristine example with rare air-con. I think that it will always be worth slightly more than a same speced same conditioned VR6 though. It arses me off that a Storm is group 19 though and a standard VR is 18
  8. All late production 2l 16v and 8v Corrados had these Wheels. They were very smart classy standard cars.

  10. Id love to see the Top gear show where the Storm is taken to the museum and the deals on wheels also. I think I saw that one actually. It was a blackberry colour and had an AA check done on it and had a few problems much to the owners frustration.
  11. Ive got standard shocks and Eibach springs on my Storm. The rides not bad. Theres no slaming or anything alough the standard front shocks were new when it was lowered. I want to eventually change this set up to Hand R and Konis as I find the Eibach springs to stiff at speed when you hit a bad area of motorway + I would like to raise the back of the car slightly. This I can do with the Height adjustable rear koni dampers. But Ive found this set up acceptable short term.
  12. I have a picture of a new Vr6 somewhere. I shall look for it and the brand new calipers on this example are silvery gold. So Im going to get silver smoothrite and add a smal lamount of gold when I re do mine. Ill try and find the picture.
  13. Im 6ft 6ins and used to get a bit of back pain in my old C 16v but am very comfortable in my VR which has far superior lumber suport. I think the 16v seats were of a lower quality. I have the seat at its lowest position and well lent back with the steering wheel at its highest point. A lot more room than my old Scirroco !. If I was sensible I would get a bigger car but Ive got plenty of time to get boring sensible cars. :D
  14. Thats why Im hopefully participatung in the group buy  However when I fitted the eibach springs the original dampers had not long been renewed and so they have lasted the year. I always intended to fit better dampers though but they are working ok at the mo. The worst problem I find is at heigh speed on a bad section of motorway. You get sucked down every bump etc. It doesnt jar but you get shaken up!. This is where I hope to find the biggest improvement as the low speed ride is good.
  15. Sorry! But i thought you might find it useful to see the drop from other angles.
  16. My VR6 is on Eibach springs and standard dampers. The ride is firmer than standard but theres no slamming or jaring over bumps and I have found it good to live with alough I eventually want to fit koni adjustable dampers. For pictures of how my car sits on these springs se members gallery. 'Salt free Storm' or 'polished storm'
  17. Here is my VR6 on eibach springs. I dont think its too bad but am soon fitting the koni adjustable shocks which have rear height adjustment so I should be able to get it spot on :D
  18. Hi. As I said in the other thread I am interested in the height adjustable rear Koni dampers for my VR6. Let me know as Im definately up for a pair. Thanks.
  19. Yeah that sounds cool. I only want the rear shocks too. The height adjustable rear Konis. Superb let me know. Cheers :D
  20. Would it be aceptable to put the koni shocks on the rear for now as I recon I can do this my self and leave the originals on the front until I can get it done. If I do it my self Ill bugger up the camber settings wont I?
  21. New OE dampers on the front and the original old dampers on the back. Is changing the dampers to the konis as you say the best option? Dont suppose anyone has an exploded veiew of the rear suspension as this would be a great help.
  22. I have issues with my rear suspension also. I have a VR6 fitted with Eibach springs. It sits a bit low at the back and needs raising about an inch. I didnot have the top mounts replaced when the springs were fitted. Could they have commpressed?
  23. You need to check for leaks when the car is hot and the system is under pressure. Obvious care is needed. It might not leak when cold but I guarentee you will see or hear where its leaking from if its loosing it that quickly when the system is under pressue..
  24. Where is the fuse for the fan run on? In the instruction booklet it says its in a seperate holder but doesnot say where.
