    LWS kit is very well made and it's a great fit.

     

    There is no notable performance difference but every little helps especially if you have extras under the bonnet adding weight ;)

    Did you use the oem fasteners or go for bonnet pins?

    Hi,

     

    Have had these for years as they came with the car when I bought it 11 years ago, but replaced then with carpet mats shortly afterwards!

     

    The drivers side still has the clip that attaches to the seat too.

     

    If you're interested I'll check postage costs as they're pretty heavy!

    Hi Jon, I'd done some searching before finding Bestpartstore, didn’t find a lot of choice for suppliers of Valeo, there was one described as a genuine VW part for £110.

    I'm trying the partial dash out method described in a few postings, I've got some of it done. Hopefully over the weekend I'll get the heater box out and this one will fit ok.

    I did mine without removing the whole dash definitely do able
