  3. Hi guys, i have a 1994 VR6 I can hear the drivers side window relay when i press the switch but no movement. new motor? easy swap? i have electric mirrors and these dont work? i cant hear a relay (should I be able to). does this mean an earth has come lose or a fuse has gone? im 99% all fuses are fine as I just went through each one. thanks
  4. the insurance will only repair it properly if i remember correctly and as such will want to replace the whole panel hence y the quote is so large. this happened to me a year or two back. i ended up accepting the money for the insurance and buying the car back and then buying another one cos i didnt want a cat C. but i sold it on to someone who wanted a project car there are people out there. you could break it for more money but i didnt have the time. but you shouldnt lose to much money if you claim and then buy it back and then sell it on.
  5. Im home at the weekend ill look then, i hate electrical problems!! i think an earth sounds like the most obvious answer
  6. FINAL PROBLEM I HOPE Basically the central locking does not activate when i turn the key in either the driver side or passengers side, also neither windows will go up or down and the mirrors wont work. i have checked all my fuses and none appear to be broken? is there a specific one that controls these functions so i can double check or does anyone know what this problem might be? Thanks

  15. i have the drivers door card off, the passenger pin feels like someone is pulling it back down! i can lift it slightly but i think thats just the metal link flexing maybe? basically i can move the pin slightly but never enough such that when i pull the handle inside or outside the car i feel any resistance. :( the car was sat for a good 6 weeks while i was out of the country......
  16. how do i remove the door card if i cant open the door??
