they key goes in the passenger door fine but will only turn to 45 degrees and wont unlock the door? i cant get the door card off with the door closed can i?? the drivers side works fine but doest trigger the central locking thats all

so after being a way for a few weeks and leaving my poor car in the rain i have come back to a few problems! they might all be linked to a similar thing but im not sure! 1) the door membrane had come away causing the car to fill up with water :( - this is now sorted 2) the central locking no doesnt work - getting a new alarm soon so will get them to look at this. 3) the drivers door unlocks with the key but the passenger one wont unlock? consequently i cannot open this door? 4[strike:1lhlll9h]) the boot latch wont engage when closed, i have tried spraying WD40 on it but to no avail? does this require a new mehcnism?[/strike:1lhlll9h] cheers for any assistance!

Cheers guys this looks like the problem! It has come away from the lower rear of the door and the front surrounding the speaker.the area behind the speaker also has a vertical rip of about 120mm.how would u recommend repairing this?

its not a small amount tho. i have been away for a week and it has rained a lot here but the carpet is sodden to the point where water if i press it down water sits on top of it but again only on the drivers side. could this still be the door membrane?

My poor rado has recently started to accumulate water in the drivers side carpet!! are there any key areas that lead to this? sunroof blockage for example or do the runners along the roof allow water in if the silicon has dried and cracked? thanks

Hi Guys, Im currently designing a pedal box for a space framed single seater ( not my C!!) and was wondering if any of you have undertaken anything like this in the past and can offer any advice? the clutch is hand operated so it only needs 2 pedals but it needs to be compact, movable to accommodate different driver heights but most importantly stiff and light! any ideas or know what i can read to get some headway on this? thanks
