  7. worked for me! got the guns out cheers guys job done
  8. is it not really worth adjusting the camber?? the only real reason i was thinking of doing it was becasue the rear wheels slightly rub when fully loaded and i thought with them slightly more inside the arch it might be ok?
  9. i have heard that some corrados wont allow the camber on the rear wheels to be adjusted? is this correct? i have a 94 2.0 16v so any info would be great what is the best setup all round i have read somewhere that 1.5 degrees negative is the most common? thanks
  10. lol done 100k so fairly low at the moment but it definately sounds like i job i will have to make time for! i hate things not working properly!
  11. lol many thanks! right now i have got it set up so the face vents are on but if i close them with the sliders by them the air goes up the windscreen so i have complete control except for feet. that will do me for the moment as im not up for fitting the whole matrix yet!
  12. yeah i think i have ordered the part from GSF we will c
  13. thanks have had a look and it turns fine but struggles to move the lower wire! if i force it back into start position (top right) and then try to turn it it moves initially and then i think the cog lifts a bit as the pressure builds up and the cogs then slip if i push the wire with my hand as well as turn them it is fine. i think something has broken holding the vertical cog down
  14. sorry not to clarify guys i have a 1994 2.0 16v corrado. by the sonuds of it i only need this top nut tool so will hopefully have a go this weekend and see what happens!!
  15. dont mean to hijack this but maybe it will help stuosb anyway i have read up on changing the suspension on my corrado and recon i can handle it, i have been advised to get new top mounts when doing it as well so have got them ordered. i realise you need a deep socket to undo the nut in the engine bay but doesnt this need an alen key aswell? and also some one mentioned a special slotted socket for removing slotted nut that holds down spring top plate on front suspension leg? can anyone help me understand more about these tools? etc? do GSF sell them or can anyone recomend them to me or take a photo so i can see what they look like many thanks

  18. couldnt really think of a better way of describing it! basically my heater works fine on all speeds but i cant adjust it from face, this is very annoying considering the weather and my windscreen keeps misting up! i can turn the adjust about 3/4 of the wat but nothing happens? is there a cable that has come off or something else i need to do to get it back on track? thanks
  19. when attempting to turn the wheel there is a screeching and the steering wheel sort of jerks round i beleive this is the powersteering pump is this correct? are they easy to fit and how much are they?
  20. my mate has given me these from his mk2 golf. he recons they will fit a corrado is this true? will i need to modify the car or buy anything in order to fit them? how hard would fitting them be? is it better taking them to a garage as then can do the tracking when they are done? thanks
