  1. Gave the seats good clean and leather protect with autofinesse products, I'm gonna put them in as they are and then later on take them back out and repaint them. After seeing a post on here with flashing tape being used for sound deadening I made a purchase of some and also some plastic sheeting for the doors. That's this afternoons job plus I need to stop that water leak :) t
  2. Very nice mate ! Gonna attack my doors this aft, did you just press it down or use one of them wooden rollers?
  3. Gonna go and buy some of the tape tonight and also some of the plastic sheeting to replace my knackered stuff. Did you double sided tape it on?
  4. I was gonna use flashing tape to sound deaden the doors in mine, was there anything in particular you used or is it just flashing tape. How does it come
  5. Sounds good, have you got a link to getting it? Have you got some pics of what your seats are like and see how much difference it makes, with them not being too damaged I'm dubious if it will make any difference :)
  6. Btw is there an early and late switch?
  7. Sean, that's what I spotted last night and had a little excitement inside. I hoped that was what it was, need to find a switch now ;) lol
  8. Right so that was the benefit to the storm leather, it was heated? Still think I've done alright with it! Just need some wiring and a switch now
  9. That's em, £400 so went straight out for em. Looks like they might be heated aswell, I aren't up to speed with storm leather, was it all heated or have I really struck gold
  10. Rob, I spotted these seats on Facebook at 4pm yesterday and by half 6 I was on my way to Oldham for them. Just over 2 hours to get there, same to come back and after stopping for tea it was nearly midnight
  11. It really is as clean as it looks. I was so surprised when we went to pick it up, no scuffs or tears on the bolster and I'm hoping that with some leather treatment I can get the cracks to start easing away
  12. Also my new mirror glasses with backings came today.
  13. Bought some cow seats and door cards last night! Pretty much mint condition, got some pics from the guy I bought it off but I'll get some decent ones later on
  14. Buggar! Tell me what you have and I'll point em out to you lol
  15. yea ill strip it all and reseal it with some sealent aswell. hopefully this will stop any leaks :D still no wheels!
  16. Just a pig to have to to take it all off :|
  17. we went again last night, filled it up with oil and started to fill it with water for a test run! Water ****ing out from near the thermostat housing so I'll have to strip it back and see what's leaking and from where, think I'm gonna have to take the housing out, I seem to remember being able to get the whole housing out without taking the entire front end off, is it doable???
  18. Will have to look into some of them then, quite like the sill plates, have you got any other pics of them :)
  19. Isn't there some led bulbs available now that have the resistor built in so you don't have to do any chopping? I was debating weather to have red indicators or buy some more led bulbs, the first ones I had were crap
  20. Been back today, fitted all the coolant hoses. Took the slam panel back off and radiator, got all the fans fitted and the wiring done. I've just plugged the wiring into the old connector rather than cut the plug. Rewired the rear lights I've ordered my wheels! OMG I finally chose something ! Gotta wait 3-3.5 weeks for them to be built and delivered
