Thats not a bad thing settling out like that, but are you sure there not pulling a fast one cos the driver was driving for to long? something seems abit supect to me..

I would take the £££ but just be careful...

best bet would be ask around local garages etc see if anyone can put you in touch with any wheel refurbers...

:shock: thats not good matey.. as everyone says its down to the book value, the cars worth more to you than on paper!! I'd try to buy the car back if its a write off & repair it at a decnet but resonably price bodyshop.. do some homework mate.. :)

I'm always watching out for scum lorry drivers, since the last lorry driver killed my old RST conv'd Ford Orion & almost me too, he cut me up at a rounabout, ripped the rear end totally of the car :cry: that was total loss cos I forgot to declare the new lump I'd only had fitted that wk :cry:

I paid £100 to have 4 springs fitted, new top mount & top mount bearings up front, new rear bumpstops and the tracking and wheel alignment done too..

The kind chap also changed the oil & oil filter for me too... :D

Don't mind me asking but who fitted the cat one? how much did it set yah back? I got messed about by some mobile fitters I've used for years & ended up getting a CAT2 just to have some security rather than the pants VW alarm :lol:

Car looks clean in the pic.. thats about the average mileage, make sure you check the simple things like history, cambelt change and maintenance history.. that all the electrics work, no smoke for the engine, that the fan works etc..

I looked at one before I bought the 16v, with 120k but it just wouldn't idle after I took it for a run, something the seller wasn't telling me :(

so just be abit careful... :!:

IMO it would help to replace the dizzy etc.. they were one of the first things we did when I got the car... :) I had the timming checked too, seems to be fine at 6.50am... :D (touch wood) :)

Did you get the BBS's with the car??

Ok cool chap, funnily enough the rims suit the car.. looks sweet.. whats the ride like then? did you get it softer? would you recomend the avo's or is it to early to say?
