-
This is the sort of thing I was thinking could be added to this thread so that could perhaps become one place to post and look for info/warnings about cars for sale at the moment. :wink:gud idea

Sold for a Grand!!!!Motor is worth that!!!!
not really, with all the missing parts and the guy telling me that he dropped the engine and smashed the sump, who know whats wrong with it, plus is been stood for 18months, no paper work for the engine, no mileage, etc.......it will be needing a load of TLC........
Anyway, good luck to whoever brought it.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
when to see this car this morning.........its a bag of nails.
Best bits
*Body when isnt to bad, small 50p size rust spots on sills, few dents, paint lacquer peeling in places, and filler in the lower quarter panel.
*Yes a mounted 20vt engine (not done very well)
*good tyres/brakes/pads
thats it really....
BAD POINTS:
*20vt engine (90%) complete
*complete corrado loom, cut in in hundreds of pieces
*20v loom cut all over the place
*front slam panel chopped up to fit intercooler (will need replacing)
*headlights glass broken
*down pipe missing
*turbo pipe work missing
*complete dash is out (not sure whats missing there)
*ignition barrel broken
*handles broken and missing barrels
*need new bumper and iron
*poss complete interior, as theres dark dirty oil marks everywhere.
*electric window switches
*exhaust system
alot of blood and sweat, not a quick fix.......ideal a complete rebuild.
and this was just a quick look....
and he wont move on the price......
will need taking all back out and then fitting an original loom, then fitting the engine, then cutin in the 20v loom, ecu decoding, complete interior (either replace or deep clean) refit dash and all other bits (if its complete)........theres going to be alot of modification need doing and theres no grantees on the engine,gearbox......not worth my gamble at his price.
p.s no logbook or paperwork, no history ....hpi clear tho?
hope this is a better pic for anyone thinking about it.

having sold my corrado, i hardly come back on this is site.....but
1. you do not have to remove the steering wheel at all. - simple adjust the wheel to the lowest point.
2. the bulbs along the top, can be brought from halfords there "instrument panel bulbs"
3. with regards to your VR6 clocks, im not sure as i havent had a set to play with....they cant be that different to theses ones...

hi trying to clean my engine bay cause there lots of oil ever where, is it a good to use a power hose? should i cover up anything? its a g60 if that helps. thankscover all electrics, if oil is hard (black) get some "gunk" spray it on, work in with a brush and jet wash off...cleans the oil off good. you may need to repeat the process for stubborn stains. :)
