  1. Welcome, someone else from my neck of the woods, don't think there are any local vw clubs most have disbanded, unless you fancy joining the saxo crew in b&q carpark.

I might have to give you a shout at some point as my vr6 is off the road with engine troubles and I'm sure to get stumped at some point.

  2. Thanks,he is keeping it as a weekend car,I'm glad to say.

Hi Ben,the blue interior is a bit loud for me !

Are you at S Pod for Vw action this month ?

Yes we will be there, its a week earlier so the weather should be a little more stable, give me a shout if you guys are planning on going.

  3. Haha That was me :) I did clock you waving, but was to slow! You have the green VR right? I think you followed me from bowood a few months ago :)

yep thats me with the green vr, lots of corrado's in the area but none of the owners are forum members.

  4. Just noticed when the clutch pedal is fully depressed it makes a constant clicking sound, it stop as soon as I slightly release the pedal and gear changes are fine with no sticking this happens when parked or on the move when the engines running any ideas?

  5. Think they are worth the price Darren considering the condition of them, it just one of those items where you have to wait for the right buyer my last set of wheels were on ebay for months and got nothing but silly offers then several people were interested at the same time and got a good price for them, stick to your guns and be patient.

  6. Had a couple of burnt Looms to deal with last year and it's definitely not one of my favourite jobs, the fuse box where all the looms connect to needs pulling out there is a couple of clips also there is two bars that need sliding out to release all the looms that plug into the fuse board, you may already know this but it took me at least an hour to figure it out myself so thought worth mentioning.

Good luck with it my car had been played with before and all the wires were tangled so spent a little extra time organising them and even went as far as labelling a few to make my life easier next time.

  7. Quite like the hot rod rado at least it's being used and its quite nice to see a car like the Corrado being used in different racing circles plus it looks pretty tidy, better than being ratted and rusting out in 2 years time.
