  1. Long shot I know but have any of my corrado chums got something like a wooden cigar box kicking about that they no longer require.

I'm looking for something to convert into a tenor ukulele so am looking for an interesting box as a starting point.

    Many thanks.

  2. For anyone who fancies a bit more of a challenge - I have recently fitted mk4 golf heater controls and heater box/cables to my Corrado.. It's a very good fit, but requires some modifications to the glove box and the panel below it. Benefits are a well illuminated heater panel, with controls that feel robust and easy to turn. Also the recirc function works which is a bonus. The fan itself is also much more powerful and replacement parts are easy to come by...

If anyone wants more info, just pm me and I'll point you in the right direction.

Sounds like an interesting mod, is it reversible? Also any chance of some pics.

    Rog.

  3. Welcome Matt, nice mystic storm you have there.

I too have a mystic and live it, like you mine is driver and is my daily transport, it's a bit tatty round the edges but they are meant to be driven.

You'll like it here, loads of helpful folk.

  4. As above I made my own loom using 4 relays, the difference is very good.

You can buy the OE style head lamp connector so there is no need to have the rear covers open.

I did consider putting the relays in the actual head lamp unit, there is room for two relays in there and they would be 100% water tight but tbh tucked in beside the battery seems to work fine with no issues.

  5. Morning chums,

I'm going to remove my abs unit in the next couple of days in an attempt to fix it.

Now, when I replace it what's the correct procedure to bleed it? Is it just a case of undoing the bleed nipple on the top or is there something else I need to do?

    Rog.

  6. I'm sure I can send these to Sweden and Germany at not much extra cost, give me a few days and I'll give you a price guys.

    Rog.

A little bit of research has suggested I send these to the European mainland for about £1, therefore at the current exchange rate I can do these to your door for €8 but can only except PayPal gift as payment.

I've a few left if anyone wants a Christmas treat.

  7. Rob, I think you could do the heater controls in red el sheet like what is used in the back light mod, if you wanted it all red then it's probably something we could do but if you wanted different colours (blue for the cold setting) then maybe contact the guy that did the backlight kits.

  8. Ok, Rob has now confirmed that the colour and fit for the red is good so I think we are now ready to place an order.

Now Rob did say that maybe you should get a spare in case of a fitting error, sounds like a good idea but I'd say it's probably not needed, the sticker shop now has the correct artwork on their system and I now know the correct colours so I can get additional stickers printed up at any time, also I'll probably order up a few extras as I think there will be a small constant demand for these.

Price...the original test pieces cost £5 each, future orders should be a bit less but I will have to add postage on top so I'm thinking if I still charge a fiver each then that should cover the postage, if there is any profit I'll donate it to the forum.

I plan to place an order in the next few weeks so I think the best plan is for folk who want badge stickers to PM me for payment details etc.

    Rog.
