  1. I trashed my nuts (oo er missus) when i removed mine mate, they were just spinning and are a right pain to remove, ended up ruining the bolts as well had I had to cut them to get them off... the plastic bit of the spoiler frame holds the nuts captive and is easily broken... best bet is to give them a good WD40ing for a few days before removal.

I repaired mine with some nice counter sunk allen head screws (I'll get you some) and large flat washers, also gave the seal a bead of silicon.

  2. As far as I know you need the whole cassette, Gloster Ox managed to find me one a while back but it's currently gathering dust in the garage, I'll fit it soon and do a quick write up.

BTW when I first saw the 'Ox's' roof I thought it was an optional extra, it's that good, looks totally OE.

  3. Great news, hope its fixed.

Interesting re: the pumps, i've gone to a 2.8 block instead of a 2.9, but left original pump in, can't see that being an issue, or rather hoping that's not an issue

Won't be a problem, FPR controls the pressure and not the pump, also the Corrado is closed loop ODB1 so will 'tune' the injectors to deliver the correct amount via data from the O2 sensor.

  4. Wow, quite a fine, i got caught doing 93mph in a 70mph and was 3 points and £60 fine. I guess that few miles an hour makes the difference.

Glad i've not been caught doing 130mph+

Yep, some of that fine was my own fault, due to a massive mess up on my front the earnings form I was meant to include with my guilty plea was ommitted, the court said I could ask for a reconsideration but I'd only maybe get a 10% discount... Not worth the hassle in my book, I'm just glad it's over.

  5. Good point bringing this up Rob, I never check my amount when entering my pin, just assume it's correct, I will from now on though.

I can't see what matey was gaining from this, I know that sometimes when busy bar staff just use the person who was last logged on to the till so I guess that's how it's come up as a woman but what can they gain from it, it's all electronic so they won't actually see any money in their thieving greasy mitt.

  6. Afternoon all,

So Stormy currently has 9x6 Vibe Slick speakers set into the parcel shelf, they are 420 watts peak and 140 watts RMS and tbh sound pretty good to my deaf old ears.

Now, I've got a nice mint uncut shelf in the garage gathering dust and I'd like to fit it. I won't cut and instead will use the stock 6x4's but currently they are the 18 year Nokia speakers so I think I could do with an upgrade.

I don't want to spend too much but I also want something decent.

    I've seen these online. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kicker-40CS464-6-x4-Car-Speakers-2-way-150w-1-Pair-/171506048963?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27ee8e9fc3

Would they be suitable? My head unit is 20w per channel.

    Opinions please.

  7. Did it have the indicator stalk snapped off....lol

My mate bought his RS4 round the other day and has promised me a go in it... I sort of don't want to.. if you eat pot noodle all your life I guess you are happy with pot noodle, however once you try steak... you want steak..... know what I mean..
