  1. Congratulations - good to hear of someone with a relevant degree getting into work.
  2. Got mine today thanks (I bought the last three for £9) I then drove up and down the road with windows up, half down and fully down and couldn't hear any rattling. So based on this and the fact I am a bit lazy, if someone who has a genuine need would like three they can have them off me for what I paid - £9 posted. Drop me a PM if genuinely interested. If not I'll stick them in my glove box and forget about them.
  3. As my windows aren't THAT rattly and I might not get around to doing them for ages I am happy to give my place in the pecking order to _meth

    Corado help

Is Corrado Sunderland back under a pseudonym?
  5. Body work is mint, needs a new bonnet. Not THAT mint then.
  6. Cool - saved me a couple of hundred quid and a world of pain!
  7. Complete interior from a MK3 Golf VR6 for sale on eBay - will it just swap straight in?
  8. I can't work out why it's so cheap.
  9. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-VR6-GREEN-/300562446757?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item45faeaf9a5
  10. Dubpower as recommended by DG Autotech have done me very well at a great price.
  11. It'll fly off eBay. People on here see £430 as a new exhaust or set of shiny rims or half the price of replacing chains. . . . but GLWS
  12. This was further down the thread - http://www.alloy-wheels.ie/images/webposts/corrado.jpg
  13. Not only is the English spelling and grammar on here a bit suspect at times, the French is pretty poor - "je ne sais quoi" :geek: For the record, I learned a lot about parts, prices and the forum members from the old style "for sale" threads but also remember all the hassle with "you have PM" and off thread deals meaning law abiding citizens missed out.
  14. Thanks, sounds like for "down south" and "non mates rates" they are in the right ball park. Neither worryingly expensive or cheap. I need to let the finances recover from the final summer holiday payment and the looming spectre of the Olympic ticket money leaving my bank account before taking it any further. Then it's a decision of keep this one and carry on lavishing attention (paint, exhaust, leather perhaps) or selling and buying a finished article. Thanks all!
  15. Like many a Corrado, my VR6 has many stone chips on the front end. Also the front bumper has a nasty hole behind the number plate where the previous owner appears to have run into a tow bar. The front wings both have small dings in them too. So, as I occassionally park outside a local body shop I called them up today and asked them to have a look and give me a quote for sorting out the front end. They popped out, had a look and called me back saying to sort the dings, plastic weld the bumper and respray the two wings, bonnet and bumper - £650. Does this sound right? I've never had any body work done so I have no frame of reference.
  16. I'd love to get mine on a reliable rolling road to find out what differences the DG Cams and ECU map have done to the magic numbers. There is certainly more urgency there.
  17. I'd get a replacement engine professionally installed (because I'm not handy with the tools) maybe a TDI
  18. Try PM'ing CrazyDave - that's the chap.
  19. I suspect it's because Graham is on his own there at the moment. Dave actually made mine while I was there! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?41616-Uprated-Headlight-looms-available-for-2011 is a link to a chap on here ( Kur2y ) who also makes and sells looms. Plenty of people appear to have benefitted from them.
