my hand brake does chuff all, pulls tight after about 3 noches but cant hold the car on the slightest of gradient :scratch: i know this isnt good so anybody got any suggestions :shrug:

got two yesterday in the space of 15 mins whent to the fishing shop in warrington, n the bloke inside asked me if it was a VR (i wish!) parked up at the lake, had a scout round n when i got back to the car some bloke was takin a pic on his phone, he asked me if it was a VR to, must be droppin me a hint :D

i got mine it was very plesant supprise :grin: the girlfriend said it smells nice, then she called me a geek for bein a member of a club so i asked to check if my brake lights were workin..............

cool note :notworthy: had a weekend of chufties: -drove to the pub friday, a mate of a mate said nice C then explained he was a police man and pointed out some roads that arnt patrolled :norty: -when my taxi turned up there was two chaps stagering around the car comenting on it -when parked in town some chap said nice scirocco :cuckoo: -following a phaeton and big thumbs up came out the window as he peered into the mirror -at the petrol station some bloke made a comment nothin for ages then every man and his dog make a nice coment :clap:

im based in Appley Bridge n rollin round in a pearl gray 16v on a G plate, its often parked up on the roads behind ford (not for a couple of weeks now as im off sunnin it up)! where you at?

today i put a new roof linin in as the old one was fallin off n was lookin gash! a couple of weeks back a put the front end back to how it should be! i aslo give it a wash today almost finished one of the d90s on a negative note i think the headgasket has packed in as there is back presure in the rad :brickwall: off on holiday next week so will worry about that another day :scratch:

managed to sort my roof today and it looks a million times better :clap: if you take away all the materials i didnt use it cost me less the £8....bargin! some pics of my handy work!

managed to get to all types but didnt camp, was a few C's pottering about but non same colour as mine, the gf was desprat to find one the same colour so she could make some smug remark but she didnt :lol: i thought about lookin for a golf 16v badge but never seem to get round to it! iv changed the front grill and headlight and started refurbing the d90s instead of payin someone to do it as i had time to burn! goin for a scutch over the cat n fiddle and upnorthring later, just prepering to pisss on the breaks at the end :grin: will post some piccies later.

just in the proces of refurbing a set of D90's for my pearl grey corrado, but what colour should i paint them? -original colour or -slightly smoked what you recon?

had a go today, peeled the old fabric off, got some nice new fabric for a fiver :D stuck it to the roof then poped inside to watch the play offs (come blackpool :clap: ) whent to start trimin at half time n it was drapped over the seats :scratch: :epicfail: off for some industrial glue tomorow as suggested :cuckoo:

Hello my roof linning is falling in my non sunroof C :censored: its been bodged in the past with velcro n it keeps fallin down onto my head :epicfail: im off work this week so was goin to remove it but the issue im havin is: remove and completly replace with new material or stick it in the washer n stick it back on! (forgot to mention its lookin tiered) can anyone recomend materials to use? and what glue to use (n were do i get it from?) anybody done this :shrug:

YEH :grin: i wish! iv taken all the advice onboard and decided to avoid the budget coilovers n save up for a good set, just have to ride with my arse in the air for a while but from what your sayin it will be worth it :norty: cheers for this guys :salute:
