just had my oil filter changed a couple of days back, the guy who did it said that he had topped the oil up and then i checked the oil level today and its well over the max limit, anyone know if this will cause any damage to the engine, or should i just wait and see of it gets burrnt off ?

paid £225 which i think is fair , cant decide to go with them of the azev a's now want to improve the handling but jsut love the azev's .

anyone know how much i should pay for a set of borbet c's two with new tyres in 16 inch , with a fair bit of kerbing?

mine have just gone too, i dont think it is going to cause a water leak, well mine hasnt(yet) could do with getting hold of some new ones myself

The dirty brown coolant is a problem that i am also familliar with. my c recently started loosing coolant and needed topping up every two or so days. every morning i would find dirty brown rust cououred water where the car was parked in the garage. this was coming from right abouve the radiatior yet there is no signs at all of any dirty brown liquid in the expansion tank

i thought that the 7.5" were the smallest size that they came in. the set that i have are 7.5" and i had them on my MK2 Golf with no problems

so they wont go on my 16V

I have a set of 17 inch azev A but i have yet to put them on my corrado as it quite like the Kahn wheels that it came with, i coudnt decide wether they would look good on the car or not but after reading what everyong else wroth i might just do it now, anyway mine cost me £900 with tyres + locking wheel nuts so i think that £825 is a good price. Show us some photos of what yours looks like on the Azevs if you get them and i might switch mine over .

hi when i first bought my c i couldnt help but notice how smooth it drove compared to my Mk2 Golf but now three weeks later i am having trouble with it. it has started to jerk around a lot when the accelorator is released and at slow speeds when just rolling up to lights etc.. it isnt a major problem its just that it bugs me i cant seem to see why it is happening. also i cant seem to get it into first gear untill i have come to a complete stop and have not moved for at least three seconds. it just seems to crunch this also happens when i try to engage 1st quickly eg when lights suddenly change and your playing with the stereo or something and you put it in quickly and it just crunches. any one with any information would be appreciated

hi, i was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about Quantum alrams. i recently bought a c and it came with one and i need to know wether it is an immobiliser or not or wether is is Cat1 or Cat2 etc, any information would be greatly appreciated ,thx.

i had a look through the pdf and lots of good info on there thx, it just didnt mention the quantum alarm at all i need to try and find out wether it is an immobiliser or not before this weekend

would any one happen to know wether the quantum alarm would be a cat1 or cat2?????? because i need to let the insurance company know what immobilizer i have got and i at the moment i dont even know wether i have one if not i need to get one fast. i have 17 inch azev A's on my car so i want to be quite sure that there safe, i do have locking wheel nuts but i still feel that people will have a go and that people could still get away with them. thakns for any info.

hi all, i recently bought my first Corrado :D :D it is beautiful, and i want to keep it that way. it came with an alarm called a Quantum but it seems very basic and old and the remote doesnt work very well. Have any of you ever heared of Quantum?? also would it be an immobiliser aswell?? i spend a lot of my time worrying what theiving scum have there eyes on the motor so i may just get a whole new system but i was wondering do alarms come with immobilisers or what ones do? i one that will include a bonnet sensor and a tilting sensor i dont really know what price range these features are in , would i have to but an alarm and then get an imobiliser fitted aswell.any information would be greatly appreciated as i really want to look after this car especially as the B******S who got to my Golf and left the door handle hanging off and helped themselves to my stereo and my mates phone(which were Hidden) just lucky they didnt find his wallet with £250 cash it it cos they didnt have the brains to look in the glove compartment after finding the stereo face(idiots)

well i am glad to hear that i have just bought a 1.8 16v at last !!!!!!! :D WWWWOOOOHHHAAHHHH and its an absolute minter , (i hope) Only 70 000 miles
