  1. Yes. Same part number as the corrado's, same casting. With all intents and purposes everything is identical, bar the cams (as you say a simple swap with yours). The only difference is that the later OBD2 heads have a large port for oil flow onto the top of the chains. On the second picture; if you look on the side of the head under the cam sprockets you can just make out a large funny shaped hole. OBD1 heads don't have that and rely solely on the oil running up the chains from the bottom end for lubrication. Edit: here you go:
  2. I've upgraded my ABS system so my old one is up for grabs, it's complete minus the rear ABS sensors and the dash light. 100% working upon removal. The front sensors are brand new, unused, genuine VW sensors. The servo's are: one un touched, one stripped ready for paint but has surface rust from storage that'll need a light sand. The loom is un-tampered and un-cut. Full, un-cut ABS loom: £25 ABS ECU: SOLD 2x brand new genuine sensors: SOLD ABS pump: SOLD Master cylinder and bottle: SOLD Servo's: £10 each ABS pedal position sensor: £20 All plus postage. Located in Sheffield.
  3. VR6 ignition lead holder engine plastics. £20 plus £5 postage - Firm located in Sheffield
  4. My spare VR6 cylinder head I was going to get skimmed, but I've gone for a re-manufactured head instead which was mega bucks :bonk: It's from a 1997 Golf OBD2, so it is the newer design with the improved oil channels for the cam chains. And for those that don't know it's the identical head casting as the 2.9, the only difference is the cams which you can swap yours over easy enough. Removed from a fully working car, didn't over heat or smoke, no ticking or tappet sound either. All the stud are good too. I was simply going to give it a skim and change the stem seals for good measure. £50 plus postage which will be £10 at a guess. Located in Sheffield.
  5. Surplus to my requirements I have some Polyurethane VR6 front and rear engine mounts from the forum group buy (http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=59269). These have been built up and greased already so you have no messing about to do and they are ready to go. £45 posted Located in Sheffield
  6. Brand new in an unopened bag - The clip which holds the two ABS pipes which run along the bulkhead under the brake pipes. Bought from VW classic parts as it's an obsolete item from VW. Cost me close to £15 by the time I had it shipped over. Only selling as I upgraded my ABS so I don't have those pipes anymore. £10 posted.
  7. Sold! I'm digging these out now and I'll post today. Rich
  8. You pay the fee's on PayPal or gift it, which ever you're comfortable with and we have a deal. PM'd

  10. For sale: VR6 Genuine 4bar fuel pressure regulator, I had this sent to Mr Injector to be pressure/flow tested and ultrasonically cleaned last year in anticipation of my OBD2 conversion only to find out I needed a 3bar. Doh! £20 6x VR6 used injectors. From a 130k car. Perfect spare set to be sent off for refurbishment. £10 Items in Sheffield for collection, delivery shouldn't be more than a fiver. Thanks
  11. Summons? Haha. What for? eBay isn't law or binding contract. What a bafoon.
  12. Yeah, I suppose so. I've heard that the ICM's rarely fail though, coilpacks do however crack so finding one of those is worth a punt!
  13. Part numbers and prices for those who want to know: Front bushes (VR6): 357 407 182 £8.36+vat each from TPS Rear bushes (R32): 8N0407181B £22+vat each from the VW dealership (including my discount) I actually picked up some genuine rear R32 bushes from good ol' eBay from a VAG parts retailer called DeutscheParts. £29.71 delivered. Got the only set though. :) I'm going genuine front bushes for the sake of a tenner savings going aftermarket. Interestingly though, the genuine front wishbone bushes are made by Boge which has a sister company: LEMFÖRDER. As for cheapest LEMFÖRDER bushes.. Cheapest I found was: http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/control-arm-bush/lemforder-10203-02_g251_a03510203!02.html http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/control-arm-bush/lemforder-27132-01_g251_a03527132!01.html Used them before, free delivery, fast and reliable. Plus it's the best site I've ever found for cross referencing OE supplier part numbers. The prices are hit and miss though.
  14. That looks about right, just did a search on that part number and it looks good. Thanks Jim!
  15. Hey you guuuuyyysss! Does anyone have the part number for the front wishbone bush in a VR6? I already have the R32 rear bushes and some freshly powdercoated wishbones; but I can't find the part number for the correct front bush and even my local dealerships can't find it and say it comes as part of a full wishbone. Any help? Thanks!
  16. I'm after a VR6 coilpack which is working but misfiring due to cracked plastics etc. Or I'm after the ICM which is the metal backing and wiring on the coilpack. Basically I'm after a cheap coilpack with a working ICM I can use for my upgrade. I have two fully working coilpacks but I'm reluctant to rip them apart. Thanks.
  17. Speed sensor. It's what tells your clocks / ECU how fast you're going.
  18. Done and done! PM me your payment details. I'll send you the money over in the morning. I'm up at 4am so you'll have it for when you wake up. X
  19. £50 posted because you love me? :camp:
  20. The combustion chambers and oil galleries are mint. It's only the two places shown above which are coolant channels. Worse one being photo 2 and 4 which is the same channel - it's eaten into the side of it.
  21. Hey you guuuyyyyssss! I have a cylinder head I was going to rebuild; it's pitted: I was planning on getting it cleaned up, removing the valves and having it skimmed, but I'm not sure that this is this useable / repairable? If it is how and what needs doing?
  22. Received mine yesterday too. Really happy with them! Does anyone know where to buy the little bracket which holds the two together/on?
  23. Good enough for me. I'm going ARP head bolts and late metal gasket so a gasket set isn't needed. Thanks for the heads up though.
