  1. I'll have to check it. Sounds pretty straight forward. Thanks, Ten Ton
  2. Only my right indicator self cancels. Not really an issue but I'd like to sort it out. Would re-adjusting the boss sort this out? Currently running a MOMO Race wheel (Will be swapping this soon so worth sorting self cancelling at swap out). Cheers, Ten Ton
  3. The Exorcist 8/10 Score would be higher if the didn't cut out the spider crawl! TV Sucks...
  4. Can't imagine it would be soley down to a faulty battery (although I wouldn't rule it out). I'd start by replacing it anyway. If you get the same problem start testing for any high voltage around the alternator.
  5. Check Ebay.de all the time, sh*t loads of stuff on there! You'll be suprised how easy it is. Just communicate with the seller before impulse buying
  6. A 2ltr valver is a thirsty beast, but then so is the VR from what I've heard and would imagine ( I don't own a VR). Your driving style is def a major factor though here. Insurance will also a deciding factor. The VR6 was a few hundred quid more than my valver to insure. Ten Ton
  7. Some very good G60 engine information on here: http://www.matey-matey.com/g60-guide.shtml There are a number things that will contribute to the ECU playing up, engine guide explains what these are / where to look etc. Good luck! Ten Ton
  8. FishWick - Gotta love Essex! My cuz lives there
  9. Saw one in Coulsdon a few months ago coming towards me, think it was dark green? Mines a Midnight Blue 16V 2.0 with smoothed front bumper - You can't miss it! We simply acknowledged one another, cracked a smile and drove on... Always the way when you see another C owner.
  10. davidwort - Good guide, I don't see why it would be any different. Pretty straight forward really but man does a faulty / mucky ISV f*ck with things
  11. "3 - ISV, it's at the back of the head above the inlet manifold.... What exactly am I checking for?" Check for any loose connections / corrosion on ISV terminal etc. Remove ISV completely and clean /soak using carb / brake cleaner, check for signs of wear / gunk etc. Your ISV may need replacing if you've done some serious milage. Check breather pipe, remove and clean if necessary. Best of luck, Ten Ton
  12. Best engine oil for 16V 2.0 - 94000 Miles? Driven respectfully mostly, and hard occasionally (to stretch her legs from time to time). Heard the Quantum Synta 10W-40 505 is pretty good. Cheers, Ten Ton
  13. I'd say the ISV. As far I'm aware the 8V should have one? Or at least the Golf GTI 8V's do anyway. I could be wrong though. Had a very similar fault recently with my 16V - Wire come away from ISV terminal. Ten Ton
  14. Oil leaks are always a pain in the arse mainly because there's so much cleaning and waiting involved. Clean EVERYTHING, keep topping her up and take your time, try to isolate the problem. Has the hesitation / stuttering stopped? If not I'd def check ECU / connections etc before doing anything else. A bad connection might be at fault here. Ten Ton
  15. A simple fix. Good job! Ten Ton
  16. Joey Modding - I've learnt something new today...
  17. Can't say I've ever seen a white one... but i like it. It's the black roof I think. Good job man!
  18. Isle of wight huh? Can't say I've ever been...
  19. Each tail light is fused yes. Brake lights are independant and share their own fuse (position 20, 10Amp) I had a nearside tail light go out a couple of weeks back, fuse had blown. Check position 7 on your fuse board (counting from the left). 10Amp fuse required. Ten Ton
  20. That's the problem - The MOMO Race is VERY VERY comfortable, but I do find myself looking at it thinking it could look smarter. Mine also came with the car.
  21. A horn button would be easier to fit (if I could find one!) However, I'm definately leaning more towards an OEM wheel, I want to smarten the car up. Are they easy to fit?
  22. Trying to decide whether to ditch the MOMO for an OEM VR6 leather steering wheel. Although I love the feel of the leather MOMO (Race) I'm having trouble finding a good quality VW horn button for it. Do they even exist? At the moment I'm forced to use a Porsche horn button, but considering my car's completely debadged I would like to at least see a VW badge on the steering wheel somewhere. Can probably pick up an OEM type leather wheel for the same price as a replacement horn button, hence my dilemma... Ten Ton
  23. I have black TT leather front seats in mine, not sure about the rear. You will need to modify your existing subframe slightly, looks straight forward to do (mine were already fitted when I bought her). Found this if you wish to fit: http://wiki.the-corrado.net/tt_seats_fitting.html Ten Ton
  24. Dead fox on the A236 between Purley and Purley Way, been there for a good couple of weeks - I still go to swerve out of the way everytime I see it even though the damn thing's dead! Your head tells you one thing and your hands do the other...
