I am totally in agreement with you devilmatt i get a lift off one of my workmate's which mean's i only need to use mine at the wkend saving on the cost's of a second car which therefore free's up fund's for the corrado:dance:
-
That's what we want to see someone who is willing to work with people to get their product sorted top respect just a pity all supplier's don't follow your example Zak

I do not just appreciate your sublime wheel choice mate your car is damn hard we will need to hook up at some show this year mate (i may surprise you with a couple of bit's i have been working on with the R32) i just wish the anniversary year was next year as i feel that's when i will be totally happy with it. I will probably be staying at a mate's in whitworth for Tatton so could possibly do it then would like nothing more than to be parked next to a car of the quality of your's :notworthy:
-
No mate my fault i should have explained it better mine is an R32 i only meant i get the smell of petrol like you said but that is because the car has not been mapped correctly with the DTA i don't get the pinking noise you are experiencing however i have had it on a previous car it was however a number of year's ago and can't remember what was done to remedy it may have been the timing not sure:bonk: As i said in previous post it may just need checking with vag-com setting's wise.

If you were to opt for the rc's mate i have a full brake setup/conversion for the front hub's i purchased from purpletom who bought them from dave16v when he upgraded the only other part you would have to buy is the vr6 rear disc's then you would have upgraded brake's and a 5 studf setup allowing you to run the rc's.I was going to use them on the g60 i had but thing's changed when i done a deal with baron and the R32 of notorious trying to kill me fame.

Good luck with that mate:pale: -
It sound's like it is running rich like mine is at the moment but then mine is running standalone management (DTA) which will be getting sorted very soon with a full rolling road/mapping session once i have arranged getting hold of a higher spec DTA ECU i am not exactly clued up on vw's yet but i imagine a hookup to vag com may help you.
-
Yeah Paul is quite correct I only use super in mine if you have to use normal unleaded use an octane booster with it but what you pay for that you might as well have got super ;)
-

I have to say i think that is rather sad mate if i am reading into it correctly that the dummy has been spat out over a corrado enthusiast trying to get something out to fellow corrado enthusiast's on a for corrado enthusiast's site to help keep said corrado enthusiast's club going are we not supposed to be all corrado enthusiast's interested in keeping these car's on the road? Obviously some people have different agenda's.
-
Tis a sad day indeed mate :( unfortunately the way it is with the corrado just now GLWS and hope you recoup :salute: you have priced very keenly :thumbleft:
-
Sorry to clog up your thread mate but can i ask why you are breaking it ? Is it the old worth more in parts.:(

Thank's Bill that's the one i saw didn't realize it was LHD for some strange reason it tell's me at the top of the screen it has translated the page when it hasn't and i'm not very good at german however your link translate's it. Nice one Baz I don't imagine it would be as easy to wire to the R32 engine either

All of my list is either previous car's or mate's car's which i have had a drive of 1. Sierra Cosworth (RS500 great i have and still own a 330bhp XR4X4) 2. Vauxhall Nova Red top running twin 45 webber's (previously owned) 3. Vauxhall Nova 2.0 Turbo (a mate's a good few year's ago now only one car ever beat it was a 450bhp Cossie hence why i own one) 4. Porsche 944 Turbo a very usable weapon and awesome grand tourer (another mate) 5. Vw Corrado DBP R32 ( Still learning this one but 1 thing i know it is Rapid) I tried to make my list as normal as what i am ever going to get the pleasure to drive or have driven (all these car's are seriously quick without being super car's)
