If you ever get the chance of having a run out in a cossie take it mate the amount of jap import's i came up against when i lived in rochdale they were ok up till the limiter's then i would be bye bye i actually used to chase bikes with mine and beat them on occasion my mate is a vauxhall nut i drive a R32 powered c but to be honest the sierra when the boost come's on full chat it is imperious savagely fast and mine was only 330 i was lucky enough to be in the passenger seat of a 550-600 bhp sapp which almost ripped my inside's out i have alot of respect for ford's i also have alot of respect's for other car maker's as i know they are just as good turbo technics mk2 golf a very quick car i know one of my mate's had one ........ Oh and not to put you off the idea of getting a 911 mate 135mph M74 coming home 911 don't ask me what one as he moved out the way and i never seen him again food for thought (I had a mate with a 944 turbo and it was a serious machine but for the money i could easily have destroyed him);) -

Not seen this mate but like your view's i take it you have been for a spin in one ? Cossie's are the best pound for pound performance car ever i destroyed many a more expensive car in my 330 brake xr4x4 (subaru's,toyota's,all sort's) you can't beat a sorted cossie had mine well off the clock (160 clock's) on the M60 battering a toyota supra twin turbo. Love em and alway's will even though i drive a vw now. -

It sound's like the battery mate When you took it for drive did your steering feel heavy? if so it could your alternator but it just sound's like battery.
-
Apology most graciously accepted mate but not really required i value baron's view's as do alot of other people on the forum i had kind of worked out you were in the garage trade with the number of car's and the pic's of your G60 which was why i was a little taken aback firstly because you asked for advice then secondly your reaction to baron's reply maybe if you offered an apology to him he is a good guy as i have met him and i'm sure he will be first in line with me to doff our cap's if you get them to fit and not to foul;)
-
You will have to give us more details than that mate as i can't seem to see the one you are talking about unless it has already been removed by mod's if it was that far out from the description then you have to let other's know incase someone else is caught out by him.

Some people are beyond help i don't think this person's original post was about getting the reply's he got, i think he thought everyone was going to agree and say "yeah they will fit no bother mate" and when he saw the replies he treated them with contempt and decided to just go ahead and do what he was going to do anyway ah well it look's like he is going to learn the hard way.joker:

Yeah see who is interested.
-
Sound's good whereabout's did you have in mind?
-

Thank's regarding the colour of the fluid pretty sure it was green but will have to double check. In a previous post on my build thread you said you had driven my car do you know if stoney kept the G60 beam etc and just added drilled hub's as it is 5x100 stud pattern not 4x100 if that is the case am i correct in assuming it is a G60 steering rack i remember reading in his build thread he done a refurb on the rack any info is much appreciated.

Argo see what all the media coverage is about excellent film 10/10
-
I too would like to know if there is any difference between the G60 rack and the vr6 rack any advice would be much appreciated. Thank's
