the Corrado is a rare car, finding parts is what makes it unique, what...makes us love them, if parts were available easily it would be more popular and we wouldnt get people asking 'what car is that' or police pulling us over just to check the car out...we love them, they sometimes love us...:-), also alot of parts are available from the dealers, i bought a 90mm splitter today....youve just got to search and improve, ive had 3 G60'S now, because when ive sold each one, i miss the car, this one is for keeps....

Hi Guys, been away for a while, this is my third g60 now, I roamed into the world of Honda Vtecs which i still love for reliablilty and performance but....man.... i missed that supercharger noise so had to get another one, When i got this it had been parked for 6 years and needed a new wing and front bumper so i got some items off ebay, i then treated her to a full respray and im happy so far.... Engine is completely standard at the moment and it was owned by a lady :-) , charger has never been done so will be next on the list.... i need a front bumper bracket as its not sitting right yet....more pics to come soon....

just wondering, did the standard g60 come with an intercooler cause sometime is telling me i should have one and i cant find it????????? :cry:

cheers henny, but ive had no luck, the car is now letting out lots of black smoke and limits occasionally still.black smoke even on idle! :( any other ideas? cheers, MIke

when pushing my g60 from launch, it stops at about 3000 revs for about 30 seconds and then picks up, it does this through all the gears, i have to change gear sometimes when it stops to get power increase, any ideas? cheers :(

i think the switch is on the side of the raditor, not sure about the us part number, the switch is £17 from vw however, mine went last week, it was just the thermo switch. check the fuse for the fan tho as thats blown on me before mike

hi guys, went to vw and they quoted me £475 for a cambelt, powerstering belt and charger belt change, said no way! the mecanic at vw has had a lot of experience on g60 engines and all corrados so he pulled me to one side for a word!, i left the car at his house and bought the parts, he changed all 3 belts for 100, in one night, also did my oil change, car is running beautiful, if neone in the birmingham area needs work doing, just let me know, i assure u he is a great guy, you will be pleased!! :lol:

Just saying thanks to Steve at Pitstop Developments, My charger Belt needed attention and i happened to ring up Steve, quite conveniently he was coming down to birmingham when i rang so he paid me a visit and checked out my car for me, it was quite funny cause i recognised him from a few months ago when my friend tryed to race his G40 in a standard Polo!!! Thanks Again Steve 8)

help, help............... went to the garage the other day to get an oil change and the mechanic told me my belt is extremly worn and about to break, its the one directly on the left hand side of the charger, is this the main pulley? neone know where i can get it changd? its parked up at the moment cause im to scared to drive it :(

finally got round to racing guys....................of course i beat him!! he kept up good tho, beat him to 60 and stayed ahead off him, went to bout 110 and he was only bout 2 cars lengths behind, they are quite nippy tho! thought he was gaining on me at one point...but u know! My car is totally standard btw and never had an overhaul.....i need one soon..... :roll:

nah people, cally turbo is 204 bhp, wold eat g60 or vr6 for breakfast!!! :evil:

Just wondering if anything really strange happened to you guys when you were looking to buy a C? When I was buying mine alot of really scary things happened, to many actually! One of them was when I was crossing the road and one somehow appeared and nearly knocked me over! :( Another instance was when i was lookin to buy one, My girlfriend and I were driving to town and she asked me why I really really wanted a C(stupid question I know), I told her all the good things(u kno) and one of which I said, its unique, as I said this, One when passed me and one pulled out fromm the roundabout I was approching!!!!whoaaaaa :? The most scary tho.......get ready for this: Was looking for insurance quotes while I was at work and phoned Norwich Union, Some one answered and just as I gave my Name the phone cut off, I left it for bout 30 mins and then rang back, when i rang back and gave my no plate, the guy I spoke to said, Ive got a Corrado as well!!!!!He lived in Norfolk(any of U guys?) we talked about them for bout half hour, I didnt even get a quote I was so shocked! Strange, dont u think.............. :?

Was just wondering how rare Corrados are in England, I dont see many at all these days and when I first saw a Corrrado (a few years back now), i knew I had to have one, there was a large gap between each time I saw one and most of them are the same ones I see. There are about 3 in my area that I know of, how many do u guys reckon are about over here now? 8)

My Corrado is dark bergundy pearl also know as aubergine as it sometimes looks black, it does have the hint of red tho, looks great in rhe sun 8)

When I was lookin to buy a C. drove past this house round the corner from me and saw a really nice Corrado on the Drive, I knocked on the door to ask if it was for sale, surprislingly it was a female C owner, was shocked! Nice C tho, blue G60, had 90 on the clock and sounded like new, since then Ive visited her a few times, even went for a drive in hers and fixed her light for her! :D

Dark corrado, either black or green, drove past me on warmley ash road and didnt see me! :roll:

Any times the best time to buy a C, just make sure its in good nick and if its at a good price, dont hesitate! :)

yep.........keep the storm, my friend just bought the RX-8, hes had a few electrical probs already, while we were out in it, we saw 2 other ones!

Hi Guys, Anyone know if Pit stop have a good reputation for charger rebuilds? Has anyone used them? Need some advice as I need my charger overhauling :roll: cheers, MIke

anyone raced a 106 gti????, there 1.6 16v, my friend has one and it feels very fast, havnt raced him in my g60 yet, what do u guys think of the 106?
