  1. Other | Flash Red | Riverside, CA USA Price: $8000 Description: Hey guys, just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested before I start to part out the car. I have a 1992 Corrado VR6 SLC RED. I am the second owner, have had the car for 13 years now, its been sitting in my garage the last 10. Originally I did a full motor rebuild on the car, put alot of parts into it then later had some engine problems and parked it. 2 years ago I had the idea to do a 2.0TSI swap, so I picked up an engine and 6 speed trans, contacted all the guys on vortex that have done the swap, and got motor mounts from one, a harness from another member, fuel pump, etc. Message me for more pics, but here are some in a picasa album. https://picasaweb.google.com/118398623255398484824/Corrado20TBuildUp Original Paint + Clean interior , no rust, always garaged, clean under car and wheel wells. Some items included: Momo Cup Steering Wheel Momo Bucket seats carbon kevlar Billstein Sport struts H&R race springs Eurosport strut bar Polk Audio Speakers Laser cut flanges for 2.0t custom downpipe, intake, etc. Custom bolt on motor mounts for this swap bought from another forum member. 2006 GTI 2.0T FSI engine + 6 Speed trans (40k miles) running perfectly with turbo and ecu + swap harness plug and play to vr6 corrado. Also have parts from VR6 still, and front clip parts from 2006 GTI 2.0T 17" alloy wheels - gun metal color. Power windows and sunroof work, rear wing works, car was in good mechanical condition prior to parking other than motor. Lots of other parts included. AC,etc. If you were to piece out all of the parts and car it would be worth much more. I have over 20k invested plus the car. Its been a rough year for me, my father got sick and and passed away, my business slowed down, I had a baby, got hit by a drunk driver, the list goes on, but all that aside, it's just time to give up the project and need the space and money. I have always babied the car and its in great shape, someone who wants or loves corrados will appreciate it. Looking to get $8,000 US, serious inquiries only and I wont take low ball offers. I will however take $4,000US for the engine and trans/ECU/GTI parts, or $4,000US for the rolling chassis and all other parts that I have.
  2. VR6 | aqua blue | perthshire Price: 3250 ono Description: corrado vr6 1994 M reg, 95k, aqua blue, leather interior, lowered on fk coil overs, audi tt 312 big brake converson, rear mk4 golf, red coolant silicone hoses, red magnecor kv85 leads, powerflow ss exhaust system, bbs alloys, family owned for 8yrs, mot till march 2013 car is sorned. Never been used over a winter, dry stored, mint underside of car, as per pic surface rust at rear near badge, selling due to having two boys and a dog and the car is to good for school runs and the German Sheppard cnt fit in car. But my head tells me i have no practical use for her
  3. VR6 | Red | Cornwall/Devon Price: 2150 Description: Here you have it - an opportunity to buy what will undoubtedly become an all time classic - if its not all ready. Then again if you are considering buying a VW VR6 Corrado you probably know that already. You probably know that the spoiler comes up at 60mph and that it was voted the best front wheel car ever made for many, many years and that its up there in the "cars to drive before you die" and that for the money, your unlikely to get a car that has the same performance. Now I really don't want to sell my corrado but I'm being forced to. There's a genuine reason to sell - we have a new family member and we're moving house. Basically we need all the cash we can get and having two cars in the family just isn't an option anymore. This Corrado has been in my ownership for a fair few years now. It's had its niggles but is used pretty much daily, has six months tax and six months MOT. I has around 125K on the clock. I haven't checked but last time i did which wasn;t that long ago it was 120K so I'm almost certain it has less than 125K on the clock. Basically I love this car and so will you. I need to sell. I've listed it for less than i wanted really but it needs to go so I am open to sensible options. I'm literally going to advertise it everywhere so if you want it - don't hang about.
  4. Genuinely suprised this has not been snapped up hell of a car for the cash, will post up some more pics tomorrow now all valeted and polished.... VR6 | LC6V Classic Pearl Effect - bargain | Malvern, Worcestershire (stealth rebuild 2005) Price: £1300 Description: Description: 1992 Corrado VR6 – K652 EUC – 192800 miles - £1300 offers welcome (Stealth Racing Engine full engine rebuild in my ownership, top end, bottom end, pistons the lot at 117000 miles over £4k in all) 12 Months MOT 5 months tax Classic Pearl Green LC6V NOTE: Car now sat on speedlines and original rear lights (not all reds) Car was MOT'd a few weeks ago so 12 months. Few small advisories, tyres and dampers, tyres resolved, have ignored "reduced damping effect" comments though they are Koni TA's and they are set fairly hard!!! This was my second Corrado, I purchased this car in nov 2004 the approximate mileage then was 98000 so have owned this car for 8 years and it was a daily for approx 6 of them. I have had (and still have) a number of other motors during this time but didn't ever want to be Corrado-less (and still don't). I'm currently after a lowish miles Corrado 6-pot of some sorts that is in very very good condition, to swoon over, polish, use as a weekend toy and keep locked away over the winter. This one has to go to fund that dream.... Currently on a classic car policy with 1500 limited mileage all mods declared - was about £180 fully comp (im 31) The Car This VR6 was purchased new by a MR B Thanki on the 02/10/1992 for £18767 it has since had 6 owners including myself, the cr is HPI clear In 2005 at 117000 miles I had issues with smoking on overrun and an occasional misfire which was attributed to oiling up of plugs 1&6 and the age old VR problem of scored bores 2005 was therefore destined to be an expensive year for me – Off to Stealth racing I went The engine was fully rebuilt from the ground up by Vince and work included the block being rebored to accept the Mahle 82.5mm over bore pistons (not cheap £££) which make the engine a true 2900cc and work also included the later mk4 chain upgrades, this limits the risk associated with use related chain guide wear on the standard engine. Once compete and having spent a month or so doing the obligatory run in mileage (seem to remember this being torturous) it was rolling roaded by Stealth at 198.9BHP impressive given that the engine was still pretty tight at this stage. The overall Stealth bill was £4000 and included for 4 wheel laser alignments etc. All bills are in my name and ownership This was 6 years ago, the odometer is now on 193000 miles (75000 on new engine) and running well, had a brief issue with oil in coolant but a new oil cooler quickly resolved. It has had regular servicing, coolant, brakes, and oil changes undertaken by myself (between 5k and 10k mile periods) in addition to any periodic work required by MOT (rearbushes, CV joints etc etc) I had it VAG.com scanned recently when the oil cooler needed replacing and it only showed up a blue temp sensor which i will replace this weekend. (EDIT: now changed - and seemingly much smoother on startup!!) Other upgrades include • Lowered 45mm Koni Top Adjustable and H&R vr6 springs all round, with front lowering caps, very nice height and stance • Magnex cat back exhaust • Later VR6 cloth interior - black with blue fleck- this is in very good condition with minimal bolster sag (change was due to personal preference over the earlier VR6 interior (dark grey) Good points • Rebuilt Stealth racing Engine 2005 • Late cloth interior – good condition no bolster sagging) • Still sporting 15” wheels (good handling) • Sunroof works • Heater works on all speeds • Heater direction dial works for two positions (windscreen/legs) but not all (stiff bowden cables - pain in the arse to replace) • Heater matrix has been replaced • MFA function all working • ABS working as it should (no disconnected bulbs!!!!) • Upgraded head light loom • Lupo wipers • Rear wiper removed to clean up back end – I have this somewhere so can be re-instated • Magnex cat back stainless exhaust • MOT • Tax • Rear bushes replaced • New engine mounts (powerflex solid ones!!?? I can’t remember the name) • New CV joints and hub bearings • Tyres have good tread - cuurently sat on Speedlines • Huge and organised folder of service history and bills, all MOTS etc • HPI clear • Full closure alarm – all working • Head unit (sony I think) • Original first aid kit (unopened) and warning triangle • Recent new front suspension top mounts The no so good points • Paint is 20 years old and has not been re-sprayed so don’t expect it to be immaculate • Slight dent on n/s rear wheel arch lip • Rust section on o/s front wing (spare wing included in sale). • small patch of paint with a slight colour missmatch due to a small area of rust bubble treated previously, • Bonnet stone chips - as expected • Bumper has some "old croney car park scars”. In the last year the car has frustratingly been subjected to 3 slight paint scrapes on the bumper corners by unidentified drivers in supermarket car parks – I was waiting to have the bumpers resprayed alongside a new n/s wing but now its up for sale I won’t • Very slight dent in bonnet – only noticeable in some lights I bought a bonnet off Walesy after I bought the car years ago but I never noticed it enough to follow through with it • Slight drip from top of the windscreen rubber in very heavy rain • Slightly Cracked spot light The car in not immaculate and is unlikely to ever be to the standard i am now looking for, hence my reason to exchange for another one, however for the price it still looks good, goes like stink if you wan't it too, uses no oil, and always put a smile on my face..... I have been on the forum a long time and looking through my post will give some idea of the cars history in my ownership, though please be aware I have had other Corrado's and recently bought another VR6 from a stranger who approached me knowing I was into Corrado's and didn’t want to sell her “baby” to just anyone. Any recent posts are likely to be in relation to work required on the latter mentioned car, this is also available for sale, though now needs some lights, a new bonnet cable, some new engine mount crossmember bolts and an MOT (my cousin nicked the bumper and light bitsfor his Corrado vr6) - 92 black VR6 192000 mile but chains were done in the last 10k miles, SORN, no MOT needs some work good track car potential??? £400)

  8. VR6 | Flash Red | Gloucester Price: £2075 Description: 1994 VW Corrado VR6 for sale Tax + MOT until 03/2013 with a FSH. Mileage approx 204,700 Have recently purchased Jay's DBP Corrado so this one is now reluctantly for sale, I have owned it for the last 2 1/4 years and prior to that for 10 years by a CCGB member.I have a box folder full of old invoices and MOT's totalling many £0000's including £3400 for a Vege replacement engine and other work @ 141K in 2005, so therefore only 63K on the current one. Work carried out in 2011 included a new radiator, blue and yellow sensors, thermostat and expansion tank. New ISV and good S/H Coil Pack also. The Rear Shocks were replaced with Bilstein B4's, Bosch Lambda Sensor, both Track Rod Ends and Inner Tie Rods plus a pair of Kumho KU31 tyres on the front that have done approx 3K miles (with very good Michelin Pilots on the rear). In 2012 the Oil Cooler Seals were replaced to cure a slight leak, both wishbones were blasted/painted Matt Black then fitted with Powerflex Front Bushes and R32 Rear ones and also Powerflex Front Anti-Roll Bar Bushes - The tracking/camber was then adjusted back to factory settings. Jay Renshaw Polyprop Inserts from the Group Buy were fitted to the factory Front/Rear Engine Mounts with a Lemforder Golf MK2 Gearbox Mount fitted too along with Castrol fully synthetic Gearbox Oil (Now much reduced general movement in the drivetrain plus a vastly improved gearchange as well). Lastly a Large Bore/Polished Throttle Body with as new Damper Valve has been fitted which has improved the throttle response, nearly new Red OE H/T Leads plus "home" refurbished Front Speedlines with new centre caps all round. Other mods/improvements include: Audioscape Door Pockets with Component Speakers Red Samco Hoses OE Voltage/Oil Pressure Gauges Alpine Head Unit with 6CD Autochanger in Boot Braided Brake Hoses all round St/Steel Cat Back Exhaust with Oval Pipe Uprated Headlight Loom with brighter bulbs Thatcham approved H + P alarm fitted DG engine remap Standard Front Wipers that have had the dimples "ground away" for better operation with nearly new Bosch Blades plus an Aero Rear one. Snags: The paint is generally very good for nearly 19 years old but there is a little rust around the bottom of the tailgate, lacquer peel in a couple of places etc but it polishes up very well and attracts many good comments still. The sunroof tilts but doesn't slide and after a recent drive (not shown in pics) I had a small stone or something hole the O/S Front Fog Lamp. Slight wear to the fabric on the drivers seat bolster. I am based in Gloucester for viewings/test drives with Proof of Driving License, weekends preferable but flexible on evening viewings too if required. Please contact me if you would like any more info or more photos? Thanks for reading, Ian.

Interior - Standard black cloth in excellent condition. Momo Steering wheel. Radio - None 'Genuine Corrado first aid kit' - Check. The common questions:- Does the sunroof tilt and slide? - Yes it does. Does the spoiler work and have you stripped and greased it? - Yes and yes I have. Have you checked and repaired the rear 1/4s for rust, especially the offside? - Yes indeedy. Have you replaced the roof strips? - Certainly have Are the fog lights cracked? - Nope Are the headlights yellow? - Nope What's the mpg of that big engine? - 32mpg overall last time I calculated it Is it quick? - Yes, very! Are the seat bolsters worn? - Not even close What is the ride and handling like with the KW V3s? - Superb Does the ABS work? - Perfectly The sales pitch:- Quite a notorious car on here and has had pretty much everything done to it over the years but only for functional / performance reasons. I've driven loads of Corrados over the years and this is one of the best. I'm not saying that out of bias, it just is :-) It drives superbly and has very few interior squeaks and rattles. Everything works as it should and feels far more solid and planted than it's mileage would suggest. In it's current incarnation, the R32 has given it every day usable performance with surprising economy. I average 32mpg and I know I've seen 35-37 if driven sedately. i.e. sticking to the speed limits and changing up early. And bearing in mind that economy is factoring in the busier motorway cruising speed because of the shorter final drive. Reason for sale:- I've had it nearly 9 years and I fancy a new project. I've developed it as far as my time and funds will allow, so it's time for a new owner to take the reigns :-) I hate to think of the £1000s I've sunk into this car, but trust me on this, my loss is most definitely someone else's gain here ;-) It's probably worth the asking price in parts alone, but I can't be bothered to break it. Yes it has a high mileage and the MOT is short, but I won't be entertaining daft offers. It's one of the most sorted Corrados around and I think the price is very fair considering the investment and time it's had put into it. But I have also taken into consideraton it's mileage and the fact the paint isn't as perfect as I'd like. The pictures:- Engine bay. LOADS more pictures of the car in my gallery thread. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?51387-Kevhaywire-s-Corrado-R32 A video:- Here it is being mapped by Stealth in September 12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjG4OB72alU&feature=plcp Any more questions etc, please PM me.
  12. VR6 | Blackberry Metallic aka Bramble Metallic | Newcastle Upon Tyne Price: £3100.00 or Swap/PX for Audi A4 Avant Description: Miles: 141K miles (going up...) Tax: 6months (end of March 2013) MOT: May 2013 (Last MOT had no advisories at all - Lookers VW dealership in Middlesborough). Colour: Blackberry metallic Tel: 079 68 5 8 5 4 1 0 It's a blackberry metallic, L-reg Corrado VR6. Full black leather interior, thorough service history and history file. Well looked after and drives well. Engine is standard VR6, 2.9litre lump, with a generic induction cone - I have a stock airbox (included) too but prefer the noise - and is quick, strong, and sounds amazing when you plant the throttle pedal. It also has a full stainless Miltek exhaust - single oval tail pipe - enough 'thrum' to notice but quiet at motorway cruising speed. Chains and tensioners done last year, as was headgasket (See below). It has a semi-polished inlet manifold and parts of the valve cover are polished too - not perfect but look good. The car is fitted with an SWG one piece scuttle cover too. No expense spared work done by Stealth Racing a year ago included (bill of £1630!): - Timing chains - Tensioner - New clutch - Oil pump - Other belts and tensioners - Sump gasket, inlet gasket, cam cover gasket Suspension are KW variant 1's Inox, with stainless steel bodies. Very clean, rust free with a firm but not bouncy ride, but definitely sporty. Currently sporting Audi TT 17inch Competition alloys, that I have painted an OEM silver colour (were a tarnished polished finish beforehand). Tyres are 195/45/17s, very skinny low profiles, and Toyo's. Interior is very very good, all black leather seats with black carpets and dash. No rips or tears. It has a Momo Race steering wheel, great size for the car and doesn't feel like the toy-style wheels like the Team. I have the warning triangle but not the first aid kit. Exterior paint is straight and good but not 100% perfect. Stone chips along the front of the bonnet and the strip under the grill/lights, with a patch round one washer jet where the paint has gone a bit funny (lacquer reacted). Couple of light waves in the bonnet too. Slight bubble on the outer edge of one wheel arch but hard to spot without looking. Small dent in the front edge of the bonnet where it dips to meet the grill, about an inch wide. Despite this it polishes up very well, very shiney. Electrics work - sunroof, fogs, spoiler windows, all the lights, door mirrors (sometimes you need to click the button twice), heaters on all speeds, all lights etc. It also has a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with central locking. It has DDI illuminated dials too, which looks really good and give the interior a really nice modern feel (and are way easier to see in the dark!). It has Lupo wiper arms and aero wiperblades. The service book is very thorough. No expense spared on repairs or servicing - 2011 bill from Stealth Racing for an engine tear down and renewal. Loads of big bills for everything and anything on the car, and almost exclusively main dealer or specialist. In my short time with the car it's had a new rear engine and gearbox mounts (front is a vibratechnic fast road mount), rear brake pads, blue temp sensor, and to sort an idle/off throttle jerk issue I have put on a replacement (and cleaned) throttle body and much stiffer throttle damper (aka dashpot). I've tidied up some of the trim and other little aspects; plus I have replaced the Inpro rear lights with OEM amber and reds, plus the side repeaters from smoked to amber, and the front indicators are now amber too. A badged OEM grill went on just this weekend. I had a brand new windscreen fitted last weekend as the old one was scratched and stone chipped. Just replaced the later brittle plastic inlet pipe with an earlier thicker/beefy rubber inlet. The plate is a private one, and is included with the car. It's currently for sale and valued at £850. The car is originally an L-reg model before it got the private plate. It's currently got a pair of JBL component speakers with an amp and sub in the boot - I'm keeping the headunit, amp and sub but leaving the wiring and speakers, so it would be simple enough to put your own amp/sub in their instead. Could be persuaded to leave them in though... Negatives? Not many. The aforementioned stone chips and exterior bits is the main one . The passenger side window has been scratched by catching the rubber seal when wound down. Handbrake lever has been replaced with a shiney metal cover which isn't stock - not the end of the world I know. More than happy to talk on the phone is you want to ask any questions, could be stuff I've missed or not considered so feel free to interogate me. I'm selling to get an estate car due to family expansion next year. I'd like to sell the Corrado, but I am open to a deal involving an Audi A4 Avant (B6) either straight swap or a PX with cash my way or a small amount your way. Happy for test drives but only if insured! For 148 pics of the car in it's various guises and whatnot since I've owned it, go here >>> http://www.flickr.com/photos/mookboy/sets/72157629761366634/ Thanks!!! Photos: (Now has a cone filter) Now with a badged grill.
  13. VR6 | midnight blue | bristol Price: £offers Description: For sale VR6 in midnight blue 195,000 miles engine is newer, was put in at 160,000. The replacement engine had done about 70,000 but was fully reconditioned before putting it in by a very reputable shop. I have all the receipts for proof. It still absolutely sings! new leads/plugs distributor cap. new alternater, new waterpump, air/oilfilters, bearings all round in the last year. 5 months tax, 5 months MOT The bad bits: Hence offers!! noisy diff, couple of little dings, one 6" in door, one 1" in rear. other than that paintwork is really good, no rust at all. Bolster is worn on driver's seat. The engine is awesome! I have been driving this every day for 3 years and has been so reliable. I have clocked up those 30,000 miles mostly on the motorway. Currently it has a pretty spanking stereo in it, alpine with a 2000w amp in the boot and removable bass bin. I was going to keep this gear but it is up for grabs if the price is right. I want her to go to an enthusiast, not a chop shop really! I just need something which is a bit less juicy for all the miles I do! I will be gutted to see it go! Make me an offer before I part exchange it!! I am in Bristol Call me on 07970 129904 evenings please or email [email protected]
  14. G60 | Flash Red | Bristol Price: £3950 Description: For Sale 1991 VW Corrado G60 – BBM Charger & 2.0 Engine Quick rundown: The car has had extensive work completed with receipts totalling over £6000 for engine work alone. It also has AVO Coilovers, 17” BBS RX wheels and full black leather interior. I took the car as a part exchange for an R32 engined Corrado I owned earlier in the year. Although it’s an awesome car to drive and I’d love to keep hold of it, the spec is far beyond my current needs so it has to go to a new owner. TAX: 02/13 MOT: 02/13 Full Spec: Engine: 2000cc VW long block new as of late 2002 from TSR Motorsport. 8v pack'C' big valve gas flowed cylinder head new as of late 2002 from TSR Motorsport. 148.5k genuine car miles. Engine changed at 123776 car miles. Piper 285 cam and vernier pulley. Bahn Brenner twin screw compressor. Bahn Brenner silencer kit. Bahn Brenner rigid intercooler piping. Custom front mounted oil cooler. Grey injectors. Jabba sport induction kit. TSR stainless steel 4-1 sports exhaust manifold. Powerflow full exhaust system and custom back box. Japspeed decat. AVO Coilovers Exterior: Late exterior, bonnet, wings etc 17x7.5 BBS RX alloy wheels, 205/40/17 Tyres Interior: Full black leather VDO twin gauge pod: Boost/Battery G60 Leather 3 spoke steering wheel Ice: Sony Xplod full sound system with 750W amp and twin subwoofers boxed in the boot. Subs are enclosed in a custom sub box against the back seats. I’ve only had the car a short time, but have replaced the bonnet cable, fitted a flexi joint to the exhaust system, added the BBS wheels and changed a few things back to standard styling wise. The only thing that lets the car down slightly is the paint. There is no rust on the car, but there is the odd dent as expected from a car of the age and a couple of places where over polishing has led to thin paint. Price wise, I am asking £3950, but willing to negotiate a cash offer or part exchange. Ideally this would be for a sensible daily driver, however I could justify something fun if it comes with enough cash on top! I am based in Bristol for viewing/test driving. Please contact me if you would like to know more or would like more photos. Many thanks, Baz

  18. VR6 | Blackberry | Edinburgh Price: £1700 All offers considered Description: Thinking about selling my Corrado VR6. Previously NewbridgeJob on here's Only had the car just over a month and I'm only just getting it how I want it, but having been offered my first Corrado back (this is my 4th) I cant turn it down. Lowered on springs and shocks, Powerflow (i think) backbox, Calibre Vintage wheels (faux splits, the bolts come out) with 4 good tyres, 1 brand new proxy, new Hella Radiator. This car has the winter pack so has grey heated leather interior headlight washers and more importantly, I've just swapped out the heater matrix so you don't need to worry about that! This car has covered 124k. The chains were replaced at around 120k. One of the quietest VR's I've heard. I have 288 brakes (minus discs) sitting here waiting to be fitted. Bad bits: Body work has some dings on it, I have claybarred and polished it since I've had it to remove a lot of imperfections on it and it polishes up nice. Sunroof tilt's and does not slide. Boot lock is temperamental but I've devised a work around for it, should be an easy fix though. The tailgate has rusted pretty badly but it is not visible from outside. only when the boot is open you can see it under the lights. To summarise, this is a belter of a car, mechanically sound but does have some bad bits to the bodywork. This doesn't distract from complete strangers complimenting it on passing and the note of the 6 cylinder is just amazing. Looking for 1700 All offers considered. Email or Txt zero77four23seven26five0. If you want to call please arrange via txt as I work shifts. I have more detailed pics (including bad bits) I can forward on via email. *****UPDATE****** - Valver no longer going on the road but can't afford to re-tax or insurance for the car so I'm looking for a quick sale at £1900. In-pro's have gone and replaced with standard lights:
  19. VR6 | Storm Grey | Sheffield Price: £3500 Description: COMPLETELY ORIGINAL VOLKSWAGEN CORRADO VR6 WITH LOW MILEAGE AND IN GREAT CONDITION. Although not quite mint, this Corrado is one of the nicest you are likely to see for sale. It has covered just under 90,000 miles only and is Storm Grey in colour - one of the best, in my opinion - and greatly admired. It has been mine for three and a half years but is getting little use and so I have decided to sell it. It has been completely reliable, only requiring a new fuel pump and the usual servicing since I have owned it. Very attractive Recaro interior, and it still retains the supplied First Aid pack, unopened. The spoiler comes up at about 60 mph, as it should, and the sun roof tilts and slides. I have found this to be much more economical than I expected, easily attaining 30 + mpg during normal mixed driving and reaching 38 mpg if driven with restraint on a long run. There are a few faults but nothing to get too excited about: the fuel gauge only goes up to half full even when the tank is full. However, it stays at half until the level drops below this and then behaves normally. I think the float probably got misaligned when I renewed the fuel pump as it was working fine previously. Probably an easy fix, although it has never bothered me. The roof rubbers are slightly perished. The passenger window only opens about half way and sometimes needs help to raise it - it probably need cleaning out and lubricating. The ABS light has suddenly started to light up. This has only happened since I stored it last winter and I suspect a dirty contact somewhere but have not had a chance to investigate. I am open to sensible offers. Please note it is MOT'd until next March (and has only covered a few miles since it passed) and taxed until the end of this month (September). Road testing welcome if you can get here to see it before the end of the month. I'm afraid I'm having all sorts of problems uploading images. I'll put them on photobucket when I get a chance but if you would like me to email them to you in the meantime just let me know. Thanks!
  20. VR6 | Metallic Blue | Hathersage, North Derbyshire Price: £2350 Description: Year: 1994, L reg Miles: 136,817 Mechanically the car is sound, the engine hasn't missed a beat while i've had it, the cooling system did have a leak which has been sorted. Paintwork is good for age, usual stone chips and few little scratches, the laquer has peeled a little under the passenger side door trim but nothing major. Pictures show all these. It has Rotiform NUE's 17" wheels, all with loads of tread on the tyres, KW coilovers (not sure what model) on the car when i bought it. Porsche boxster front brake calipers. New electronics for headlights, very bright now. The laquer on the wheels has stared to lift a bit, mostly on the rear offside wheel, the others just a little around the wheel nuts. apart from that they are in good nick, no curbing. The sunroof tilts but doesnt slide and the rear spoiler works fine. Would like a quick sale, call Jim on 07792483152 £2350 ono
  21. VR6 | Sherry Pearl | Watford Price: £2600 Description: with great regret I am putting my vw corrado vr6 up for sale due to needing a diesel for my new job. 1994 Volkswagen Corrado VR6 Very rare Sherry Pearl colour (like candy apple red) 2.8 engine from VW Golf around 89k miles 6 Months MOT and Tax KW V2 Coilovers worth £1200 Mirror Polished Borbet A deep dish alloys Full Magnex stainless exhaust RamAir Carbon Nero induction kit SWG Scuttle Cover Smoked Crystal rear lights Black cloth interior I have only owned this car a short period of time, and in this time I have spent nearly £1500 getting it to run perfectly. there are no faults with the running of the car and it pulls like a train in all gears. in the last month I have replaced loads of parts including clutch, various sensors, spark plugs, ignition leads and it has had an oil change last week using semi synthetic oil. central locking is not working, this was next on my list, as i was going to have a cat 1 alarm fitted. I am not happy selling the car especially after spending so much money on it but unfortunately it won't get used once I buy a diesel. however I am in no rush to sell as if I don't get what I want for it I'll just garage it for weekend use. I would consider a px for a vw bora diesel pd tdi. if you have anything else to px try me, but I am quite partial towards VAG cars. Please call Rey on 07769652999 Thanks

  23. G60 | pearl green mettalic | Darwen Price: £1900 Description: Time has come to sell my Corrado G60 which I’ve owned since February 2010, the owner before me had it for 10 years! Unfortunately i need a car which is more suited to my needs now having two children so i have bought an audi estate. The car is a H’reg 1991 with 215500 miles on the clock but comes full service history and an extensive file full of receipts and bills which are way way into the £1000’s. I know the mileage sounds high but on average it’s just over 10k a year which really isn’t that much. I also use this as my daily drive so i didn’t want to buy one with low miles when i was going to put miles on it myself. I have also put a mk3 golf tdi gearbox in it which has helped massively with the mpg, as i mainly do motorway mileage and cruise at around 60mph I can easily get 45-47mpg on the MFA but have had over 50mpg. I always let it warm up and cool down and never go over 3000rpm until up to temperature. I also have also changed the oil around ever 3-4k. unfortunatly I have had to sorn the car but money for tax will come with it. it is mot’d till 26/05/2013. also have mot's back to 1996 as well as old tax disc's The colour is pearl metallic green which is a rare colour and body work is in good condition but it has had a few car park wounds along its 21 year life span! The car also has full black leather interior which is in great condition with no holes in the drivers bolster, which is also solid. It also has the original first aid kit and warning triangle! All electrics fully work! Electric windows, electric heated mirrors, spoiler works as it should, as well as the passat moonroof which tilts and slides. Heater rheostat also works on all four speeds as this is a common fault for them not to work! The charger last got serviced at 175k so should be good for another 10k as these should be serviced around every 45k. But also has 3 other receipts for servicing which it has had and these alone come to over £2k. The car drives really well and i haven’t had any major issues with it and will be sad to see it go but the time has come for a change to something more practical. In the last few weeks it has been in to have a few jobs done to it, such as a brand new steering pump @ over £130 on its own, powder coated rocker cover and new gasket, oil and filer and sump gasket. Other recent work which i have had done is oem cambelt and oem tensioner, oem waterpump, new crank pulley and upgraded non stretch bolt, these were done about 8k ago. i got the new blue samco coolant hoses and I also bought new vw coolant flanges and fittings when fitting them. What its got: Engine: Powder coated rocker cover Powder coated radiator support panel Jabba sport induction kit with heat shield Jabba sport chip and smaller pulley Bbm RSR supercharger outlet Samco boost hoses Samco coolant hoses New coolant resivior Jetex stainless steel exhaust from cat back but has mild steel decat pipe Front upper polished strut brace Up-rated front engine mount Poly bushed front cross member Interior: Full black leather interior Momo steering wheel Momo gearknob Wolfsberg door locking pins Dynomat on roof, boot and floor pan Uprated front door speakers with tweeters Stealth shelf with 6x9 (not wired up though) Original first aid kit Original warning triangle Exterior: Team heko wind deflectors Passat moonroof Rieger de-badged front grille/eyebrow Clear side repeaters Bump strips removed De-badged back panel with the body lines smoothed out Colour coded boot plinth Half tinted grey rear lights Drivetrain: Golf tdi mk3 gearbox which suits the car way better than the original Poly bushed bottom arms Uprated front and rear anti roll bars with poly bushed supports Lowered on coilovers Prosche Design-90’s on 25mm adaptors, 7-j on the fronts with 195/45/16’s and 8-j rears with 215/40/16 Drilled and grooved front disc brakes Mk4 golf rear callipers It is 21 years old with a fair few miles so please don’t be expecting a brand new car, there are a few car park dings around the body work and the front bumper has some paint cracked/flaked on the n/s corner. To be fair the bumper could do with spraying. Having the 90mm splitter on the front it has suffered a little bit and is cracked on both sides. There is a small rust spot on the n/s front wing next to the head light around the size of a 5p-1p she has also had a full detail yesterday. I will be sad to see her go but like i say its time for a change! Im looking for £1900 no offers no swaps thanks If you are interested then please give me a call, 07872 474 447. Or PM me Im located in Darwen, which is kind of between Manchester and Preston test drivers please bring valid insurance certificate Cheers Simon. Edit: pictures added, anyone want any more let me know NEEDS THIS GONE SOON OR ITS GONNA GET BROKEN!
  24. VR6 | Pearl Aqua Blue | Calne, Wiltshire Price: £Offers Description: Huff.... this is gut wrenching.... NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS WORTH - PAID COUPLE OF GRAND FOR IT 3 YEARS AGO AND HAVE SPENT AT LEAST THAT SINCE. NEED CASH SO MAKE ME AN OFFER! I need to sell my project. House to renovate and having had two kids since I bought it means I simply don't have time to finish it. I have already done tonnes and it would be easy to show you if I had remembered to pay my website subs - unfortunately it lapsed and they deleted everything. I didn't take a backup however I have billions of photos and tonnes of history. It's a Dark-ish blue K-reg VR6 with about 114k miles on the clock (I think - been a long time since I had the electrics on). Black leather Karman interior throughout which is in great condition. I've bought quality new carper for the car just needs cutting to shape and put in. I've had it about 3 years now and have done front big brake conversion an OBD2 upgrade to the loom and I have all the bits to go with it (ECU, manifold etc). This is a work in progress especially with the engine - I've spent a small fortune on this so far - block and head acid dipped cleaned, honed and had the head rebuild with new valve guides etc - it looks mint. Not fully rebuilt yet though and it needs main bearings and timing chains etc. This is a full on project and will be awesome when it's done. It simply needs to go and I've got no idea what it's worth. It will need to be trailored obviously. I'm based in Calne Wilthisre which is about 15 miles from J16 or 17 off M4. This needs to be seen hence why I'm advertising it on here only for the moment - not ebay. NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS WORTH - PAID COUPLE OF GRAND FOR IT 3 YEARS AGO AND HAVE SPENT AT LEAST THAT SINCE. NEED CASH SO MAKE ME AN OFFER! Let me know if you'd like to know more - number is 07799 768 321 and my email addy is [email protected] I'll add more stuff as I remember. Thanks Jim
