Just wondered what tunes everyone's got in their C's?

 

I'll start with the contents of my autochanger:

 

1. Seal - Seal (1991)

2. Human league - Octopus

3. Goldie - Timeless

4. Leftfield - Leftism

5. Chilled Ibiza - CD1

6. Blur - Think Tank

7. Royksopp - Melody A.M.

8. MoS Chillout Summer Collection 2003 - 1

You got some good music in there m8.. some tunes that come to mind would be :

 

Goldie - Sea Of Tears...

Royksopp - Poor Leno

 

And probably most of the MoS Chillout CD's as they are usually pretty good :)

 

At the minute, just got an MP3 CD in my Pioneer player.. has got both Coldplay albums on it, and the 'Very Best Of Euphoria' - though I am planning to pick up a CDRW drive tomorrow so I can sort out my car music selection properly :)

Personally prefer "Dare" to "Octopus", but the Leftfield album - what a scorcher that is!

 

In my motor at the moment I have

Octopus has got some cracking tracks though - like they went back to their pure synthesiser based roots in '95 when Octopus was released...

know what you mean - haven't listened to it for a good while though since I officially retired my turntable from the main hi-fi set-up. :( :( :( :(

 

might have to dig out a tape of it if it's still any good (seing as it must have been about 1991 when I think I last re-taped it - kept wearing out the tapes playing them over&over in the car!!!)

Thanks Jeremy.. but I have already been out this morning to pick up a 52x Liteon CDRW as I had heard nothing but good things about those drives off a number of friends & work collegues.

Just burt a CD of all old TV themes such as a-team, airwolf, muppets, baywatch, all the stuff i watch as a kid, Seemed are really good Idea at the time. put it on in my car drving home, thought HOW F'KIN UNCOOL IS THIS!!! :lol:

Yeah, Tell Me When is still an awesome track, especially the Remix No. 1 by Utah Saints.

 

I bought the 20th Anniversary version of Dare t'other day which came with Love and Dancing too... Cool stuff. If you like that, try and hunt out Pete Shelley "XL1" which was produced by Martin Rushent (as Dare was) for a similar sound, but a bit harder with more (read: some) guitars.

Papua New Guinea is indeed an absolute stonker! It's on Accelerator, not ISDN. All of their albums are superb, especially Dead Cities 8)

3 ) Pink Floyd - Wish you were here

4 ) Pink Floyd - A collection of great dance hits

5 ) Dana Glover - Testimony (including 2 live tracks she recorded when I met her! :wink: )

6 ) Kosheen - Resist

7 ) Daft Punk - Discovery

8 ) Prodigy - Music for a jilted generation

 

I've also got leftfield, SKY and aerosmith kicking around in the car which were in there instead of Dana Glover and the pink floyd CDs, but I was in a funny mood and really fancied some floyd this week! :lol:

 

I normally have quite an odd selection in the changer from classical thru to heavy metal via dance... Working in radio for the last 5 years has influenced and widened my musical tastes somewhat! :lol: 8)

Just got a drum&bass remix of Papua New Guinea, and it really is awesome. The tune doesn't really need updating cause it still sounds so new, but this ups the beat and really sounds superb :)

I can't reccomend an MP3 capable head unit enough in that case.. can fit about 8 or so well encoded MP3 albums on every CD - really kicks ass :)
