coolrado 0 Posted July 14, 2004 pink floyd....... the wall I aint a Floyd fan but that's in my collection & has to be one of the best video albums ever :D i have allways sort of liked pink floyd since i was in school when my dad used to play a few of the albums i saw about 5mins of the conveyor belt scene from the wall at a mates house about 2months ago and i just had to buy the dvd because scarfes animation is just superb unfortunately my dad now listens to dance music all the time (quite odd considering hes 54) im only 23 and most of my mates just dismiss floyd as "old mens music" quite a few tracks have been re-mixed by other bands recently but IMO you cant beat the originals if you havent listened to a floyd album before i can definately recomend echoes the best of album as it covers most of the styles floyd went through
STORM 2 0 Posted July 14, 2004 This thread is quite interesting as most members seem to be fans of late seventies rock and the eighties indie scene. Most could be explained by similar age grouping but even the younger early twenties types are listening to the brilliant Roger Waters autobiography - The Wall. And I thought everyone was listening to Hearsay and Darius etc......... Or maybe that just non Corrado owners :!: :!:
Blair 0 Posted July 14, 2004 Must admit I've never been a big Pink Floyd fan. I tried...although maybe it was something to do with my mates from Uni just boring the fecking arse off me about them every time 'music' came up as a topic of conversation :)

TomB 0 Posted July 15, 2004 Verdi - Requiem (I cannot reommend it enough for apocalytic midnight runs) Best time to drive, nobody on the roads.... Thank god, I thought I was the only one. :D My favourite run has got to be the A59 late on a Wednesday night on the way back from Fencing. Pumped to the gills on adrenaline, at the wheel of a speeding Corrado with Choral music turned up loud (but not so loud you can't hear the engine :D :D ). GIXXERUK 0 Posted September 13, 2004 Is that the one with the white dove speared by a bayonet on the cover? na.............thats the one after........which for the life of me i can't remember what its called Soul Mining? or Mind Bomb? its mind bomb although soul mining is an excellent album Well it ain't written in the papers, but its written on the walls The way this country is divided to fall, So the cranes are moving on the skyline-- Trying to knock down--this town But the stains on the heartland, can never be removed, from this country, that's sick, sad, and confused.
