When does the clutch usually go on a G60?

Just wandering whether im about to be possibly hit with the clutch goin, went on my old Mk1, now unsure seems the bitting point is pretty solid and low but then from moving off recently been a bit weird, what kinda milage do the clutches usually go?

Anything from 80 - 150k's depending on how they've been treated...

 

If the bite point is low (towards the carpet) then you may have a hydraulic leak - check the slave cylinder and fluid levels etc first...

this spring breaking loose seems quite common on the g60's mine went at 120k while down shifting on the motorway

mine was standard when the clutch went but it had been a bit juddery for a while so i had a new one ready to go in. the new one was also a sachs clutch but it seems they have beefed up the bit that breaks now.

ummm, according to the history I got with H-YYU, she's not had a clutch done yet and is on 160K! It's starting to get a little juddery though... :|
