its 1001 ps, so not so many bhp

 

But like all VW's it was dynoed at 40 degrees C so on a cool day it will be higher.

 

I'll be waiting for Clarkson to say something about the Tyre pressure monitoring system on it, this will be my moment of Glory as I build them....

1001ps is the minimum power!! Some examples put out 1100bhp, the engineers had to ensure with production tolerences on a £850K car that the customers get the full 1001ps they were promised. 0-186 in 16.8sec and electronically limited to 253.4mph!! Amazing stuff.
