make-shift spray booth, NOW WITH SpRAY GUN!

so i've got some spraying to do for my car parts, so i thought, i know what i need, a spray booth, so 5 mins later...

then i thought i'd tidy the garage up a bit (notice more room on floor)

then i thought, well the paint needs drying in these british minus temperatures....HEAT LAMPS!

Pic of the first coat of primer so i know where i need to sand etc....

then i thought, hang on, i've got another heat lamp somewhere....

We have light! and heat!

 

not made for few hours work of tidying up and pinning the sheets to the garage!

 

well chuffed :lol: :lol:

Not to many heat lamps mind, you might be waving goobye to your spraybooth and garage!! (especially with those thinners soaked sheets!)

We did this for a while too - sprayed my own sunroof (after it broke and scratched itself :roll: ) Only problem was dust! could have really used a big extractor to complete the setup, still really useful tho!

I made a makeshift spraybooth today out of an entire copy of the Cornish Guardian. Been doing my rear lights... :)

brought this from halfords and you wouldnt beleive the difference it has made, so much easier now!

 

its just an attatchment you put ontop of any spray can, it just clips on!

Spray pattern is the same as all it does is press down on the original nozzle... Trust me, it makes it sooo much easier to spray though... :)

 

Build does look good though Neil!
