Removing the funnel???!

any ideas as to how i remove the plastic funel insert in the standard air box?? It won't budge!!! :x

 

Also.......... What pipes need to be blocked off or joined after taking out the carbon canister???

Theres a guide on how to remove the CC somewhere on here try the search.

 

Funnel should just knock out, mine came out quite easily.

If it's for a 16v (and if it's the same as a mk2 golf) just unclip, move the top gubbins out of the way. remove the filter and push it off from inside the box usinf a flatblade 'driver if neccessary

Removed mine and yes it can be very tight.
