Traverse 0 Posted December 3, 2007 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan, sold when I bought the Porsche 1987 Porsche 944, which is still in the family, but it has been garaged for the winter so I can work on restoring it. 1990 Corrado G60, my DD/fixer-upper Last winter I also drove a 1985 Saab 900 SPG, but it was totalled near the end of January. I finished out the rest of the winter in another '85 Saab 900, which is now my father's restoration project.
Jim 2 Posted December 3, 2007 Ummmm.... 6 in total! 1991 Peugeot 205 Trio 1994 Corrado 2.0 16v 2001 Citroen Saxo VTR 1992 Corrado G60 2001 MK4 Golf TDI 1994 Corrado 2.0 16v Don't remeber the years for each of them (like when I owned them). Not bad though.. none of my cars has been particularly bad though the Golf TDI was definately the most expensive to maintain because it was a bit worn out and EVERYTHING costs a fortune on them. My downpipe rotted on it and because its integrated with a catalyst, VAG wanted something insane like £500 for a new one!! I had a Milltek stainless one fitted instead.. cost a heck of a lot less! Ironically the french cars were the cheapest.. the Peugeot cost me a set of spark plugs in like 14 months of ownership and the Saxo cost me nothing mechanically because it didn't break. It had only done 17,000 miles though so i'd have hoped for nothing less!

Jay2 0 Posted December 4, 2007 Peanut how old are you? Thats some list! First car:- 1.1 Festa, which was a complete tin box with a manual choke! But cost bugger all to run and fix. Miss it. 1989 Golf 8v GTi, going from a 1.1 to a 1.8 injection was earth shattering! 1987 MkIII 2.8 Capri, dream car from too much Professionals as a kid. Sounded fantastic but spent more time in the garage, either being fixed or filling up with petrol! AND rusted like a *********. 1991 Corrado G60, current car, with a never diminishing list of things to do on it. :(
