vwdeviant 0 Posted August 11, 2008 Is it possile to sling a KR head on a 9a bottom end? If so will I have to go K-jet rather than the current K-E-Jet (9a)? Wondering, as I'm after a stage 2 KR head/cams for cheap and wondering if I can use it? If so what difference will it make?

vwdeviant 0 Posted August 11, 2008 Nice so just a straight forward head swap then? Any ideas how I tell a "staged" head/ Fast road cams from a stock ones? Also Can I re-use the 9a inlet/exhaust manifolds or do I need the KR ones??? Apparently an ABF Head Gasket is the best to use?

vwdeviant 0 Posted August 11, 2008 "SNOT" Guru! Cheers Stuey! xxx :notworthy: Fancy a head swap for Gooney tokens when you feel up to it?
Toad 0 Posted August 11, 2008 There's something to do with fueling in KE-Jet along the lines of shutting the fuel off on over run so it doesn't damage the cat, K Jet doesn't. I think you'll kill the cat, and fail your emissions. Better off buying an earlier car that doesn't need a cat and putting the 9A block in.

That's a possibility. It would have to be done at OPO Euro-Tuning headquarters though. Can be done in a day as well.

(Which was the intention once it died TBH!) and get £60 scrap for that! ;) Stu OPO Euro Tuning's Workshops sounds fine!
