Toad Ai606 5 beeps on arming? whats wrong?

Recommended Posts

hi guys

my toad recently started to beep and flash 5 times upon arming, i assumed this was a door open etc, but according to the manual that should have 3 beeps, i`ve done a quick google and it appears a couple of people have had this but the threads go nowhere so dont have an answer.

just wonderered if any one here had seen/heard of this and knew what it was, the alarm itself seems to be operating correctly apart from this!?!?

many thanks

ben

My AI 606 gives 4 beeps when arming which suggests the bonnet is open. The doors then need to be locked manually.

Bonnet switch is fine - contacts open and close correctly. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hasan

Many thanks. I might reset it as the car battery went flat during last year so this may have affected it.

I think there is some kind of reset procedure in the manual

4 beeps is my doors, 5 is my bonnet. Time to check your door switches 👍

Thanks Cressa. The cabin light goes out when the doors close, perhaps its not those switches?

Seems to be ok now. I  cleaned the bonnet switch again and it seems fine. Perhaps some  corrosion.
