Much better durability and more spark and power . FR7KPP33+ must be the Bosch ones not NGK. From an Audi TT I believe. Good information mate, although the miles I’ll be doing won’t impact me, plus at that stage I’ll be so used to the disassembly process that it won’t matter. easypops 8 Posted March 18, 2020 So, got another few wee bits done. Rewrapped the engine loom (OBD2) Fitted the power steering pump/bracket, alternator, although I need to swap the pulley so it’s only loose. Also, made a good coilpack out of 2 I had, somehow I ended up with a new front so I had to use the back off the old cracked one. No idea where I bought the new front part from? When i fitted my schrick i replaced my old ones with the NGKs, wish i'd known about these before. Never mind, next service change... Yep they are the correct part number he fitted some to mine last year and I also had the injectors refurbished. He was just adamment has to be the Bosch one and not the NGK version of the above part number. Im seeing him on Monday so will ask what the advantages are and why not the NGK ones. I suppose he has the dyno so sees all the figures and engine performance pattern . Please note this is specific to the spark plug part number above not that of the standard NGK spark plug for a RADO VR6. easypops 8 Posted March 28, 2020 (edited) Thought I should do something in the time of isolation, so I looked out the seat looms to fit to the car. It’s a job that needs done so might as well. However, I recently picked up a set of cream Recaros and I don’t have the wiring for them, so before I fit the one I do have I guess I should try to make another one.
