Bally 0 Posted January 6, 2004 Would they fit my 16v are are the spring ratings going to be different due the VR6 being a heavier car??
dazzyvr6 0 Posted January 6, 2004 koni only actually list one coilover set up across the whole mk3 golf anf corrado range so they will be fine
VR6 0 Posted January 6, 2004 I thought that FK listed one kit for the Golf and Raddo VR's and another kit for the other variants?
vr6corrado 0 Posted January 6, 2004 I agree with VR6 - it's due to the significantly heavier front end of the VR.
dazzyvr6 0 Posted January 6, 2004 just as an example the koni sports suspension kit is listed the same for all models so they must use the same springs, dampers etc..so i would think it would be the same with the coilovers
Majik 0 Posted January 6, 2004 Hi mate hows it going. It might be a good idea to invest in the coilovers if your going to get a storm next, you could buy two additional 16v spring to use on the coilover to match it to the 16v spring rate
vr6storm 0 Posted January 6, 2004 koni only actually list one coilover set up across the whole mk3 golf anf corrado range so they will be fine IIRC its only for plus suspension equipped Golfs that they list for
Bally 0 Posted January 7, 2004 cheers for the replies guys... Hey Maj, not doing to bad, just sorting out a few bits & peices on the car... good idea about getting a set of spare springs, saying that, as long as the coilovers are in good condition is it ok to buy them 2nd?? I no I wouldn't be covered on warranty? need to decide as I use the car daily & do alot of miles, which is making me think more to get new coilovers rather than 2nd ones? Please advise!!
