Mawrick 0 Posted August 24, 2009 Any tips on how to remove the rear seats so I can disconnect the ABS sensors?
mattnorgrove 0 Posted August 24, 2009 push backward from the front of the seat base, theres kind of a hook release mech you need to defeat.
voo51 0 Posted August 24, 2009 Don't they just pull up? There are no screws or anything, you just have to pull the base/bum bit up quite hard, especially on the side closest the footwell.
shaung60 0 Posted August 24, 2009 Push the seat base back a bit and then pull it up towards you. The hook bit is in the middle of the seat base at the front of it.
Mawrick 0 Posted August 24, 2009 ok, any pics of this mechanism ?. And do you mean push back the seat and then pull it up from behind?
scarlet_vr6 0 Posted August 24, 2009 I don't have a pic of the mech itself but it is just a slightly hooked bit of metal on the underside of the middle front of the seat base. At the bottom of this pic, you can see the hole which the hook sits in. Just push the seat base laterally towards the boot and then lift it from the front in one smooth movement. Once the front is free, pull the base towards the front of the car, as there is a small metal tab which slides into the back of the seat (you can see this at the top of the pic). Hope this helps :) resized boot and under rear seat cleaning 15-08-09 050.jpg[/attachment:3mxr6kw1]

Critical_Mass 10 Posted August 24, 2009 They're a pig to remove imo, can be a little tricky.
fla 9 Posted August 24, 2009 just hit the middle of the front of the seats hard and they'll pop up. You can then pull them out
