markievw 0 Posted November 16, 2006 Passed my test in may 1996 Then drove a metro :( for a few years enough said! In 1997 got me a 1990 G plate Golf driver, nice car but had problems with carb In 2000 got me GTI at last a 1991 mk2 gti16v in red, excellent car never any trouble. Also at same time I bought a mk3 golf tdi, to do the miles as it was a 60 mile trip to work. Mk3 was horrid, handling was **** and arches started go rusty. Wouldnt own a mk3 ever again. In summer 2003 sold the gti and kept the mk3 golf to fund my corrado purchase. But couldnt find one I wanted so bought another mk2 gti this time an 8v. I still have this GTI to date. Sold the MK3 tdi in 2004 and kept the gti. In april 2005 bought me a corrado vr6 with leather interior. Still have the gti and corrado to date. But am looking to sell the corrado
