Leonard 0 Posted March 7, 2014 in a kind of similar vein.....ive been fond of volk racing wheels for a while now http://www.wheelstudio.com/content/products/9219/main.jpg Yes their are some lovely Jap wheels that almost fit straight off but not quite LOL (normally centre bore) Love the Volks
coullstar 0 Posted March 7, 2014 Light and 17's dont really mix to well. Other than the suggestions above have you looked at some of the Rota wheels. Ive always liked the Force ones but there are some called the Blitz that are very BBS CH like. I also think Speedline Turini's are very nice motorsport style. mic_VR 3 Posted March 7, 2014 I've got the Rota Forces on mine and they're very light (for 17's) but they're also very motorsport looking.
sexybourbon 0 Posted March 7, 2014 Them ferrari wheels are called autostrada medina's and Keep looking at my wheels and thinking about changing , love the motor sport look and keep looking at the ultralaggera wheel( spelling ) I changed the center bore on my current wheels it wasnt hard and most engineer firms should be able to increase center bore and spigots will reduce

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 7, 2014 Gotta hand it to VW, they do have a good eye for what wheels suit their cars. MK2 16V, Corrado VR6, MK4 R32, MK5 GTI, all classic and spot on choices. Their regular wheel man / lady must have been on holiday when they chose these though....
JAM11E 10 Posted March 7, 2014 They are 15" corrado speedline alloys. 6.5J just been refurbed and powdercoated in a bright silver Tyres are nankangs 165/50/R15

I was having this conversation today at the body shop, how these are the worst wheels VW have ever made Haha

JAM11E 10 Posted March 7, 2014 No 15" :) It might look like that because well my sump is about 3cm from the floor. Haha ;)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 7, 2014 They match the equally horrible front grille I suppose! I think the guys thought your Speedos were 16s :)
Leonard 0 Posted March 8, 2014 Original Speedlines do look good in a shiny silver, but you have to have the car quite low to have them look really good. No good for me as a weekend driver, although may try them for a while and revel in the 15 inch performance Quite like the look of these, no idea what they are or weight though.... Jim Bowen 1 Posted March 8, 2014 They look like a borbet wheel
Leonard 0 Posted March 8, 2014 They look like a borbet wheel Yes think that is why I like them look like the classic Borbet C Corrado wheel, but with a touch more aggression/style being 2 or 3 piece

Stonejag 10 Posted March 11, 2014 Ultraleggeras are pretty light (hence the name) but fairly fragile - I've cracked two of mine :( Looked nice in 16x7 over 312s though. Stone
