Fog light reproduction .

They look total shiyte once fitted too..

Worse than smashed / rusty ones? I seem to remember them looking slightly, slightly narrower and longer than OE?

Christ, this was years ago when we imported those Hella lenses at $9 each or something! I agree with VEEDUBBED, they don't look quite right, and the glass is thinner......but it's better than busted originals. To lessen the impact of the visual discrepancies, I'm sure I did some black detailing of indicator lenses or something.

There was a guy who had a manufacturing company who managed to make a few sets of the later looking Corrado fog lenses,

they were made out of a fairly tough plastic, but they looked really OEM he was selling them on Ebay about 18 months ago,

I managed to get a set just before they sold out.

If I can remember or can find any paperwork I'll post up on this thread the company details.

I think they were about £100 for the two lenses,

and they came from abroad somewhere I recall.

Didn't they melt if you used them thou? Thought they were cosmetic but not really useable?

Not this week. Not a fan of old auto boxes. If it was dsg or multitronics it would be nice.

Back on thread, I bought some lenses when they were still available from the States, and there is a bit of a knack to getting the lenses out, once you do one,the second one is easy,

Back of thread, IIMHO the Corrado is more fun to drive with a manual box

here we go...

I worked on two different solutions for damaged late style fog light lenses.

First, adjusted non-OEM lenses(mineral glass,grinded):

2 lenses = 150€ + shipping

Second, non-OEM lenses (acrylic glass, optic similar to original lenses):

The final version will be without any marks ("Hella","E" usw.)

Attention: These lenses are only for use with special LED-bulbs! (because of the heat)

The lenses we be delivered with a set of transparent film to avoid scratches or cracks.

190€ + shipping

Hi Chris,

I must admit they do look really good actually.

Thanks for your hard work on this really rare item/s.

I've been trying to find some paperwork, a invoice something with the company name when I bought some plastic / acrylic lenses off Ebay, about 18 months ago but I've lost the invoice or might have thrown it out by mistake.

But anyway the first option price you have Chris I'm pretty sure that's close to what I payed.

LED bulbs that's a good shout,

Chris please let us know when you're happy with the final product/s.

I think these could be selling out fast.

Thanks again Chris.

Also interested in a set - are you still planning on making two types and what is the difference between the glass?

Hi Chris, just wondering if you're selling these now? If so I'd be keen to buy a set off you...

Cheers

Dan
