Slightly less power than the E36 Evo due to the shorter exhaust but the weight difference more than made up for that. It is devastatingly quick. Faster than any M3 in a straight line....but the Z3s dynamics (despite the tin top) let it down in the handling department. It is the equivalent of the MK1 GTI...... in-house engineers given free reign (more so in BMW's case) to realise the car's full potential. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

seanoVR 0 Posted September 24, 2004 theres an article in this months evo on the M Coupe. It's awesome- so much power for such a small car. Did see one written off though at a police pound.
