Makes you realise it's not yourself you need to watch out for so much, it's other drivers! Glad there was no loss of life, wish you a speedy recovery! Hope it hasn't ruined your christmas and new years completely! -
Hi everyone, I will be visiting my parents next week for Christmas so will remove the interior during the week. Cheers!
-
i used a 1.3 rad in one of my mk2 20vt projects- running 237bhp & never overheated once, even from a day on the drag strip! so you should be fine lad

oh cmon!! teasers are unfair
-
Okay cheers guys! It will be including headlining/ visors & carpets Sean :) Thanks for the price estimates got a rough idea now!

Hi everyone, as the car is off the road for winter, I thought I would try get the interior sold! It's out of the R32 blackberry corrado I bought earlier this year, some of you may know it. There is a large hole worn in the driver bolster, and the drivers doorcard is slightly discoloured. Apart from that it's in good shape! I realise it needs a price, but I really don't have an idea of what it's worth? (I am new to corrados and part values) This being the leather seats (front & back) front and rear doorcards, carpets, headlining, sun visors, beige plastics (minus centre piece, abc pillars & passenger kick plate) and parcel shelf. I will take a black cloth/ plastic interior in p/x! If someone could give me an idea of it's rough value, I would greatly appreciate this! It is located in North Yorkshire

Doubt it would be but I have a few spare CE2 fuseboxes kicking about at home if you needed a replacement one for free! Coming on well, can't wait to see it running :smug: -
Thanks GlosterOx I'll check that when I'm next in yorkshire! :) Cheers Chris, hopefully gives it abit more stability. But yeah happy with how it fills the arches in! Did you put a new rear beam on? I hated re-aligning it on my mk2 after a put mk3 rear beam on..

Cheers lad, love your thread by the way. Was scouring it for ideas Bet you can't wait till it's done! Looks a great job. Yeah it is running (apart from it's killing batteries, need to figure that out) but it's up at my parents in north yorkshire unfortunately so won't be at the RR day :( Hopefully there will be one in summer for me to bring it to! Might just bring the dci almera to the RR, show you all some real power :bonk:

Not much of an update as I'm living back in leicester, but popped up to my parents at the weekend to sell my mk2 20vt. Tried on my 9J borbets, but way too much tyre poke and I don't want to mess with the arches! So I put the standard speedlines back on & fitted some 10mm hubcentric spacers on the front, and 20mm ones on the rear. Also finished polishing the bonnet where I got rid of the dent :) Going to refurbish them in gunmetal grey or similar colour as they've got corroded areas and paint defects. poking out Before.. After! Next things on my list to do are, lower abit more & sell the leather interior. Got a cage & buckets lined up for when it's on the road in summer. I'll also be removing the engine to clean & paint the block/ gearbox & a general clean of the bay :) Bought some vw loom tape to do the wiring as alot of it is bare in the bay Cheers

Exciting times! What're you doing about the loom & immob defeat etc then? -
Cheers! :thumbleft: I left the faux beige leather that was already on the plastics and roughed the surface up with 320 grit; it just helped the glue adhere better!
-
The new wheels are going to look awesome mate! Bet you're happy with how they've come up. When do you reckon they'll be on then?
-
Thanks Sean! It's actually quite hard to make it out properly, it looks alot nicer up close in person :) Here's a better pic, I agree though I'm really pleased with the outcome!
-
Haha glad I'm not the only one then! Managed to finish the plastics in the black faux suede today. Just have the centre/ handbrake cover to do to match the dash!
-
Timewarp looks! How did you manage to find one with such low mileage then? Or is it just because its been off the road so long? Looks great :thumbleft:
