That Audi is one mean looking mama, and as for the MK 1 Golf 8) 8) -
Since he is so quick to try and settle on his own without informing the insurance companies, it sounds as though he may be uninsured, hence the bogus insurance company no-one can find........
-
I was thinking the same thing about your number plate too!!

Looking exceptional mate 8) -
I'm just about to replace the rear bumpstops on my car as the N/S has split. Are they the same as on a Mk3 Golf?? Is there anything i should particularly watch out for before starting it? Thanks

K-Reg Blue VR just near Shaftesbury, Dorset. Exchanged waves.....Anyone???
-
Boll@34s!! I have also just left Manchester, and my car is standard. Oh well, i'm sure someone will snap it up. How about vr6corrado???
-
Yeah Corrado's are always getting attention. Especially if you see a couple next to each other- people in the know can't believe it as they know there quite rare, and people who don't know about them just stare in bewilderment!!! I really enjoy it when someone stops and makes a comment to me about the Corrado- it is always positive. I once had a homeless guy on the street come up to me and say how much he loved Sciroccos yet VW had made a worthy replacement with the Corrado. :D
-
Yeah was in a used car garage today and the owner was admiring the corrado saying they were like gold dust!! He said that they were fetching silly money!! I'm all for that....long may it continue!! :D
-
Nice looking car mate. You've done well cramming all that kit into the boot!! Looks like one sorted sound system you've got 8) Also applaud the licence plates.......might have to steal your idea as i'm in need of getting a couple done up for me motor!! Good work 8)

I just went down to my ATS dealer and asked for a qoute on the Goodyear Eagle F1's and they said they would be 78quid a corner +VAT, making the total about 360 pounds. Does that seem right to you guys? These were DS-2's

I did the Ferrari 355 day at Silverstone. You got to drive a TT 3.2V6 for 3 laps to learn the track, then an Elise for another 3 laps and then the 355 for 3 final laps. So only 9 laps in all but still a great day out. Like G60Renshaw says, the elise is wicked as you can really go for it round the bends and hit the limiter while upshifting (or get close to it!!) The more expensive cars they tend to be a little more wary of you, obviously. But still a great experience for 250 quid.

Quite actually...... "a mongrel based on bits froma MK2 golf AND a Passat" according to Richard Hammond!!!

Very smart looking car mate. Looks like you've put a lot of thought and time into it. Really liking the result you have 8) -
I'm surprised to hear that the VR6 is as close to the cossies as this debate suggests. I always thought that the cossies would chew up a corrado and spit out the pieces :?

theres an article in this months evo on the M Coupe. It's awesome- so much power for such a small car. Did see one written off though at a police pound. The driver lost it whilst being pursued by a copper, not much left of it to say the least!!

Who's the sad F#$@ who's bid on it?

Nice to know!!
