Nah mate, disconnected everything and wrapped it up in 3 layers of clothes and it's just sitting in the garage!! Polished it up before i went so hopefully when i get back all will be sweet and the only thing wrong should be a couple of under inflated tyres maybe  Will PM ya -

Looking good mate.... When i get back from OZ in a few weeks it will be good to see it again!! Who serviced it? -
HE-MAN, ARE YOU THE GUY I SAW OUTSIDE PIZZA EXPRESS A FEW MONTHS AGO. I HAVE THE GREEN VR6. IF IT IS THE SAME GUY AND I THINK IT IS AS I SAW YOUR CAR AGAIN LAST WEEK WITH A FOR SALE SIGN ON IT!! LOOKS LIKE YOU WERE LUCKY AND GOT IT SOLD SHARPISH....... DID YOU GET WHAT YOU WERE ADVERTISING IT FOR???

Much more likely to be the vacuum connections though as you would surely know if you were running that rich. The same thing happened to my Mk 2 golf, but never got round to changing it. But if i remeber correctly, you will need to take out the clocks out.

Saw a dark red H-Reg 16V in Pershore, Worcestershire on Sunday afternoon. Exchanged waves!!

That really does seem like a ridiculous price for that car.... looks like a bit of surface rust on the slam panel round some of the fittings

My oil went up to 124 on a recent motorway stint. Am seriously considering an oil cooler very soon. Water has never gone above 98 ish

944 Turbo's aren't rear engined!!! Only the 911's.............

Cheers Kev. Have done as you said and taken it for a spin down the dual carriageway. Seems fine, although with the problem being intermittent, i will need to get it on a long distance motorway journey and see how it behaves!! Fingers crossed. Cheers

Cheers Kev. How do i go about resetting the ECU?? Is it a simple procedure? I'm sure i've read about it somewhere involving disconnecting the battery and something else.... Thanks very much

I m have a niggling problem with my car which only happens on motorways when i'm driving above 80mph. If i go up to about 95 and then slowly lift off, the car "jolts" almost like something is cutting out?? The engine is not cutting out but something definitely is as it is not smooth. It kind of buckles and this feels a bit dangerous when i've got someone up my arse as it is almost as if the car is braking but not in a controlled way that you would expect from simple easing off. Has anyone got any ideas on this as i would like to get it right. Thanks in advance

Sure it wasn't Mystic Blue

I'm always checking to see who's looking at the car, and i love catching people checking out the spoiler action!!! :D

Have I set an official record ... for the most written-off ?

That is awful mate. I'm really feeling for you. Hope you manage to track down the b**stard -
I had that very same problem when i replaced my rear discs and pads. All i did was clean the sensors as it is easy to get a bitt of dirt on them when replacing the discs especially if you don't replace the washers on the inside of the disc

Ferrari 355 on a track, but the best car i've driven is a 1999 Skline R34 GTR V- Spec which is my fathers. Goes like stink, Also had a few spins in various porkies- 964 Turbo 2 the best though. Also my fathers!!

Just got back from Silverstone where i had my first ever track day!! Got to drive the new TT 3.2 V6, Elise 111S and the Ferrari 355. It was an awesome day and well worth the £250. Can't wait to go on another one. Maybe even take the Rado round a track!!! :D

Have just changed my rear discs and pads along with the bearings. Everything is fine but the ABS light now comes on and stays on. On start up it comes on as normal and then goes out, but after i've driven a few metres or touched the brake it comes back on and stays on?? What could this be, could they're just be a bit of dirt on the sensors due to the knackered out old discs?? Cheers

I got £1300 for my 1990 8V with 130k on it about 6 months ago
