The throttle on my G60 doesn't jam on when released it just sticks at the point when it open's the second butterfly. I don't understand why it seems fine when the accelerator pedal has been pushed past the point where it sticks until its left for a while then it comes back. I've cleaned the chain link type connection between the small and large butterflies it has a smooth action until its left for while then it comes back. Cheers for the advice anyway Henny Sandy

Hello Folks, I've got the problem with the throttle on my G60 its sticking at half throttle when its been sitting for around 10 minutes (need to press hard on the accelerator to get past this point). Once I've done this its alot better can stick feel it sticking slightly at half throttle though. I've changed the throttle cable and cleaned the throttle mechanism the action seems to be smooth until its left for around 10 minutes then it starts sticking again any ideas. PS the accelerator pedal moves fine when the throttle cable isn't attached to it. Cheers for any help in advance Sandy

Just had my C on the rollers anyway I'm only loosing 50.5 bhp through the drive train instead of 48.5 bhp with the 18's only a drop of 2 bhp not bad thought it would have been worse.

tram lining has never been to bad on my c that includes the 18's.
-
got mine on Saturday
-
No I am keeping them for winter & stuff

I raised ma C up at the front around 10mm to take the 18's but I didn't really need to. Will lower it again at the weekend but I must admit I am enjoying having full lock without arch rub. PS my driveway make's ma C look like its alot higher at the front than it is even with the 17's on.

I've been running 17's with 215/40/17 tyres for 5 years noo. Anyway I bought cheesy's wheels they went straight on I've no arch mods and my c's been dropped a fair bit on my koni coilovers (compared the the size of the wheels and the 18's were only a few mm bigger the 17's due to the tyre profile). I've only had them on for a week but what I've found so far is the car feels much smoother (I was surprised by this) and the grip is much improved over the 17's plus they look totally wicked. Just need to watch pot holes but I've done my apprenticeship on 17's so I am a pot hole dodging master (touch wood) PS will post some pics today at some point Sandy

A big valve head and a supersprint 4 to 1 manifold plus the removing the cat boosted the torque nicely.

Mines is a daily driver, haven't got around to buying another motor so my C's only exercise is getting polished :)
