1. That depends on how much you're asking :) They want the best part of €100. Although TBH I should probably take out the ashtray and lighter and see if something is blocking mine. They work alright but they get stuck behind the lighter trim for some reason.
2. Excellent. Thanks! https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/schalter-klimaanlage-corrado.html How much would you take for yours? Inc P&P to Germany.
3. Yes I checked before I posted. jboyslick was active on here a week ago. That's worth looking at actually. When I spun the fan by hand it didn't make any noise. Perhaps there is something behind the dash clashing with it. I'd still like to know where and how much for a new one though.
4. jboyslick - Did you manage to get a Blower Motor in the end? I have the same problem, fan whirrs away and drives me crazy. But I don't want to spunk £200 on something that should be £50 max!
5. Sorry I missed this thread. I'd have had those off you. The "Norm" and "Max" switches on mine are dodgy and I want to replace them. Do you have the part # by any chance? Maybe VW Heritage can get them.
6. Yup, cost me a pretty penny to get mine back in working order.
7. Spotted this whilst trawling eBay Small Ads. https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/corrado-beige-leder-sitze-vfl/571066178-223-1527 Use Google Translate.
8. I got mine in the first group buy and it's still going strong. Yes the illumination doesn't quite match. But to be honest, it's a good reminder to turn off the headlights!
9. Just add it to your Amazon "Wish List" and then send a link to the list to all your Family. Otherwise you'll get Socks, Pyjamas and Old Spice for Chrimbo! :D
10. I'll be honest. They're LM Reps. They never made the genuine ones in 16" and I don't like 17"'s on a Rado. The Battery Pack and Compressor were a present from Her Indoors. It's this set. The starter works really well, one jump start only uses about 5% of the charge. The compressor is handy too although I've hardly used it. It's also great for charging USB devices on the go. 11. Oh the boot bag contains all manner of things. - 1 Litre Oil - Spare bulbs, 4 x High Vis bibs, Small First Aid Kit, LED Warning Triangle (all requirements here in Germany and I don't want to use the originals) - Mini-Compressor/Battery Starter pack (wee tiny thing, saved my butt a few times, you know I should really fit a headlight buzzer) - Disposable Gloves - Petrol Additive (cleans injectors) - Clutch cable (had one of these snap on the motorway once. - Small Toolkit - De-Icing kit - Spare fuses and those headlight relays - A few photocopied pages from my Bentley Manual. Fuse diagrams stuff like that. - Various things "I'll get round to" that need put on the car. Latest one being a brand new rear "Corrado" script badge in chrome silver.
12. I'll second that. It's happened to me a few times. I now carry 2 spare relays in my little boot tidy bag. An uprated loom is essential though and I'm sure your car has one.
13. Welcome to Corrado (and Storm) ownership. 220bhp is pretty impressive. Love the stock look too. Makes me think I should have just done the 288 brake upgrade and left the Solitudes on mine. You've the deeper chin spoiler there too by the looks of it. Makes it look even lower from the front. Health to drive and keep us updated on your escapades. There's also a Facebook Group. 14. I'll be there at 11:00 for the 2 minutes silence with Mike Brewer. But immediately after I've a drive booked with Hero Events. :)
15. I don't think VW went to the trouble of making custom "Corrado" badges in chrome for the Storms. The wee red "Storm" badges were enough. If it were the case, there would be an extra Part # for the Chrome badge on VagCat.com
16. I'd love to bring my car. But I doubt I could make it by Thursday evening. Leaving work at 15:00 then Cologne to Birmingham wouldn't be an easy mission. Do we have a discount code for tickets? I'm about to book my 3 day pass.
17. Dammit I missed it. Totally forgot. Was it Bezz hanging out of the boot? :)
18. Mine arrived this morning. Very impressed. It looks exactly like the original VW part. Even down to the Part Number and other markings. AND trim clips were included. Perfect!
19. Guten Tag Chris, Haben Sie noch ein "Corrado" Emblem zur Verfügung haben? Preis mit der Lieferung in Köln bitte.
20. Yes the glass is only held on by 4 torx you can access from inside the car. You'll need to adjust it a few times via these anyway to get it level with the roof and cut down the wind noise.
21. Indeed, the seal's designed to be water resistant rather than water tight, there's a rain tray and 4 drains around the corners of the roof. My seal was totally perished and I was getting a lot of water, even from a light shower and lots of wind noise too.
22. Unfortunately not. Surprising as they're common to many VW group cars. €87.00 I paid for mine last year from these guys.. https://www.online-teile.com/volkswagen-ersatzteile/ That was back when the exchange rate was good.
23. 357877209A From a Golf. Make a Google Image search and you'll see images with the profile of the seal. Check that against yours.
