Wayne, when you get the fuse box cover from Sean, I have some clips you can use instead of screwing it shut.

I think I may have the Bentley manual on disc, however would appreciate photo's if you can. Being a bit of an electrical numpty, I am a bit confused as to what you mean by the 4.8vdc input converts to 0.45vdc & 0.8vdc on the Bentley table. Typical that the MFA would be the one that couldn't be removed to swap.

I have an old meter head in the garage and wonder if it's possible to swap the MAF from one to another, if mine too is out of spec. I had a quick look at the meter head and it appears there is a black 2 pin sensor on one side that has fixing screws and a black 3 pin sensor on the other side with no obvious screws.

Thought I'd share this afternoon's modification.

Is now a bad time to point out that I'm employed as a fraud investigator? lol.

I might pop along, if I remember. Never been before.

Sounds like a plan

If that the case, I wouldn't be surprised if your the next Raddo I see.

I'm also not a fan of stretched tyres but have a slight stretch on my current setup. Lowered mine is but I did raise it shortly after purchasing as it was slammed on its arse and no good for the roads round here. Bingley by the way.

that's massive compared to the Kenwood that fits in the gap between the wheel arch where the boot light lives. Bet it sounds better though

All depends on budget but I' personally went for some Hertz components at about £80 for the front and it already had pioneers in the rear (not that you'll hear them as faded to fronts). I'm also beyond fitting subs/amps however the sound from the small speakers is really lacking. To overcome this I bought a tiny Kenwood sub http://www.ciao.co.uk/Kenwood_KSC_SW01__Review_6028308 and fit this in the left hand side of my boot. Easy to install and adds a bit of depth to music, but not mobile disco levels of booming bass.

Welcome to the forum. I don't normally like white, but looks nice on the Corrado. Local to me too judging by where the photographs were taken.

Dunno about you Peacedub, but mine only started after the KR cams were installed which initially led me to believe I had an inlet leak as the intake was the only think disturbed. Last night when doing it's revving up/down I nipped the pipe from the ISV to intake and by restricting it's flow the idle settled. I also tried unplugging the cold start injector to see if it was to do with this, no change. Then unplugged the ISV and no change. If I get some time this weekend then I'll do some more checks, starting with the throttle switch as this could have been disturbed during the cam change. Whatever it is, it's intermittent as this morning worked fine with steady idle (albeit high) and a nice 31MPG registered.
-
Just checking for any update on this as mine was fluctuating like a good en on the way in to work today. Also forgot to mention, another symptom is when getting off the gas its a jerky on/off feeling. Once revving its a peach.

RR session will have to wait until I've fitted the 50mm inlet.
-
Just sitting on the fence, waiting for the responses as my valver has also had an upset idle after a KR cam change. Cold idles fine about 900 rpm, warm sometimes fluctuates revs from 1000 to 1100. MPG has taken a battering too and it smells rich (will get it RR setup at some point).

Fuse 15 sorted it

It's not a broken wire as it works in any position as long as the door pin isn't out. The pin acts as an on/off switch.

Hi peeps. After letting my better half drive the corrado, my electric windows stopped working. I initially thought broken wire in door as worked when open but after a quick check it appears to work when door pin out but not pushed in. Any ideas?

After amazing service and the next day delivery of my Jetex system, I thought I'd leave a big thumbs up for VW Heritage. I just hope the exhaust fits as well as their service was good.
-
I got 99.9 MPG in the first 2 weeks of corrado ownership. I was being towed by the AA though.
-
Hope you paid peanuts for it and the settlement was good

2.0 16v Exhaust required - Same as golf Mk2? suppliers?
MZpog replied to MZpog's topic in Engine Bay
Bit the bullet and ordered the Jetex. Problem is I need to know my chassis number (at home) to complete the order. Anyone know how I can get this from a reg number? ****edit**** doesn't matter, found it from the thatcham install doc I have a copy of on my phone. -
Last night saw the demise of my Powerflow centre box that cracked/snapped at the weld and put the already loud system into "Superchav" mode. I've never really liked the booming noise that Powerflow provided so will replace the full system with a quieter one. Having looked at the definitive exhaust thread, Magnex were put on my shortlist along with Jetex. Unfortunately Magnex's website doesn't list a Corrado system and I wondered if the listed Mk2 golf system is the one used? Anyone recommend any suppliers of Magnex or Jetex?
