Are these still available? I need a VR6 front grille badge, coil pack march 1994 model so I'm assuming it should be brushed?

No worries, thanks for replying. Just found a pair of Seat Arosa ones on fleabay £26 for the pair which I'm hoping will be the same thing.....Unless someone here tells me otherwise!?

Do they both need to be driver's side wipers to do the job or can you put a normal pair on for the same result?

You're right, they were lined up, I couldn't see it before because when the wipers are down it's under the scuttle. I've ordered a new linkage but fixed it back temporarily for now. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the advice. The short linkage doesn't seem to able to manoeuvre to match up with the joint on the wiper. I haven't tried to force it because I wasn't sure if it was right. Is there any trick to getting them to match up?

I'm pretty sure if you took it to UPS they'll give you a price and it won't be horrendous. I once posted a 60 inch plasma screen with them, they'll take just about anything anywhere! I'd offer you £70 for it with you paying postage if you're interested.

They only have the one for the early model like the one pictured above with the eco/sport switch.

I've tried a MK3 Golf one, it was the wrong size unfortunately and the number strip has different gaps so that can't be salvaged either!

Not new no, I did say it was from a 1999 Skoda Octavia. Seems to be doing the trick at the minute though😊

I have just installed the motor from a 1999 Skoda Octavia, works perfectly! It looks slightly different but fits perfectly and it's also made by Bosch. At £9.99 it's a bargain!

I've had so many attempts at fixing my Corrado's sunroof now that I've (more or less) given up on having one that works as it should. Has anyone on here ever tried converting to a manual operating sunroof like the old mk1 golf's and scirocco's had? One with a handle you turn. Can't be that hard....can it?

Thanks for that but it's a late model VR6 Auto, its a different shape to that one and has no sport/eco switch. Looks like the one in a MK3 Golf but it's a slightly different size.

Been trying for nearly 2 years to find a tidy gear shift surround trim panel for a '93 VR6 auto. Any ideas?

Has anybody who has completed this conversion still got the auto gear shift trim surround? Mines got a poor DIY fix on it and I'd love a better one!

Valve block was the problem with mine, it was driving just in 3rd gear until it got replaced.

You could probably start a little business up doing this! I've fixed the roof so many times that I eventually gave up and decided to leave it closed 😠
